After taking a broadside from the Los Angeles Times, Mrs. Pelosi has taken yet another one. This time from the Washington Post. Can the New York Times be far behind? From the WaPo editorial:
In short, the Democratic[Mrs. Pelosi’s] proposal to be taken up this week is an attempt to impose detailed management on a war without regard for the war itself.

“Without regard for the war itself,” describe Mrs. Pelosi’s plan as you will. However you describe it, it can not be called a plan for victory. It clear that Mrs. Pelosi would rather lose the war than deal with it as an election issue.
