You might recall that one reason John “Breck Girl” Edwards ran for vice president is that he would have lost his Senate seat if he ran for re-election. A.J. Strata, Strata-Sphere [1], reports that Nebraska Republicans war preparing to rinse Hagel out of their hair.
But with the challenger within striking distance of the magic 50% mark and Hagel down in the high 30’s you can basically start saying your farewells to Hagel. He is toast.
And badly burnt at that.
