….and so it goes. These are merely a handful of the people asking the question “Where is the apology, John Murtha?”
And where are the Democrats on this one, the rank and file, who were so busy following this moron, Murtha, when he was so popular because he was mounting anti-Bush and anti-Military, and frankly, anti-American sentiments? Where is their integrity? Why are the Democrats not taking Murtha to task? They should be apologizing, as well. And where is the press, on this one? Why are they not pressuring Murtha? Why were they so quick to jump on the bandwagon he invited them on? Why were they not fact checking, for themselves?
Alas, I think neither of them have the integrity to do so.
Recently, we had the case of a Democrat prosecutor in North Carolina who decided to use a rather shaky and frankly unprovable case, to bolster his reelection chances. In other words he played politics with the lives of the people that he was prosecuting. That is now days, we referred to as “being Nifong’d”.
Having the same thing happen when the over-eager mouth belongs to a congress critter, looking to bolster HIS political power, should henceforth be called a “Murtha”.
