Hey John, if you don’t like advertisemnts for prescription drugts, don’t watch them. Then lay off our Constitution.

Edwards on Sunday was outlining a plan to regulate what he views as a proliferation of misleading drug ads. In the decade since the government relaxed rules on advertising directly to consumers, spending on prescription drug ads has nearly quadrupled to more than $4 billion a year, he said in prepared remarks.
Edwards have a law degree, yet he seems think he knows more about prescribing drugs than does your physician. We citizens have this thing called the First Amendment [2], which protects our right to communicate with our physicians as we alone see fit:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
John, the responsibility of the office you seek, President, is to protect our constitutional rights, not trample them.
