Just a thought;
I’ve been watching the business with the script writer’s strike out in Hollywood, with some amaze. The first thing to see problems of course, as this cracks up, is the monologues for the late shows… Letterman, Leno, and so on. Poor Steve Colbert… has to quit his presidential campaign, [1] and now doesn’t have a job to come back to because they people who tell him what to say to be funny, are on strike? That’s gotta be rough.
Given that these are monumental talents, why would they NEED writers? I thought they were legendary funny guys all by themselves? Look, gang, I’ve done a decade of morning radio, so I know it can be done on your own. These guys can’t do it? What’s up with that?
