Is it just me or does this ad for NYC Tourism, look amazingly like this old cover for the 1972 WAR LP called “The World Is a Ghetto”?
Forgive me, but it strikes me that if anyone else were to make the connection between the two bits of artwork, it might not be the best image for tourism… Then again, I’ve always been a fan of the group… and so the connection would be more natural for me than for some. Still….
