Breakfast Scramble

DavidL's Breakfast ScrambleMrs. Clinton’s scorched earth policy, Boston Globe [1]:

LAST YEAR at the beginning of the presidential primary season, Democrats were giddy with excitement. Not only did we have an embarrassment of riches in our candidates but we had two historic candidacies to enjoy. Once and for all our country would show that racism and sexism were not part of our 21st-century DNA

John Kerry auditions for BO’s secretary of state, Briefing Room [2]:

Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) believes that on September 11 “we were basically at peace.”

Asked to clarify his remarks, specifically asking about the attacks on the U.S.S. Cole during Barack Obama campaign conference call, Kerry said, “well, we hadn’t declared war,” The Hill’s Sam Youngman reports

May God have mercy on John Kerry’s soul, for he is surely brain dead.  We been under attack by radicial Islamist since the World Trade Center was first attacked in 1993.

No Shat Sherlock, World Tribune [3]:

Uncontacted tribe spotted, National Geographic [5]

May 30, 2008-In a palm-hut encampment, members of an “uncontacted” Amazon tribe fire arrows at an airplane above the rain forest borderlands of Peru and Brazil earlier this month. The black and red dyes covering their bodies are made from crushed seeds and are believed to signal aggression, native-rights experts say.

They seem to get along without us very well.  Look at the brightside as long as we do not have contact with the tribe they remain a pristine museum culture.  As soon we establish contract, the tribe joins the ranks of the poor.

Texas Supreme Court says send FLDS children home, Salt Lake Tribune: [6]

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The e-mail sent by a legal aid firm moments after a Texas Supreme Court ruling Thursday said it all – Supreme Court to CPS: Send these children home.

Chickacide, Atlantic [7]:

The New Republic has published a piece [8] about Nancy Pelosi backing Barack Obama in the contest for the Democratic nomination. Upon seeing it I thought to myself, “Finally, a blow that the Clinton campaign can’t explain away by cynically playing the gender card.”

Think again!

Have a good weekend.
