Just got back from vacation so this one’s gonna be short, sorry.
- Billy’s got a couple pics posted you want to see. I have to tell you, I have a number of shots of the like in the camera I’ll be posting over the next few days… but these pics of the Daisy Hollow, [1] will top them. Nice work, Billy.
- Oh, speaking of Billy… I’d say “culturally tenderized” [2] is as apt a description for the educational process I’ve been talking about, as any I’ve ever seen. What happened to her is alas, a microcosm for what’s happening to the country as a whole. This, however, is far more basic than a situation of learning about various areas of the country. This is a teachable moment about how not all cultures are equal, or even good. For example; Is it possible that the lower ninth was left to fend for itself because enough people saw the place for what it is?
- Verdon [3] and I are often in disagreement. This isn’t one of those times.
