Martha Coakley

[1]

DNCC thugs assaults reporter, while Massachusetts attorney general watches

My intend is not to oppose Martha Coakley’s bid for the Senate from Massachusetts.   No, I’ll pass on commenting on the merits Coakly as candidate.    Coakly is simply a bad person.

Elizabeth Scalia, Anchoress [2], is one of the sweetest and gentle soul on the Internet.   So I take note when the Anchoress calls Coakley nasty and stupid:

So, there you have Martha Coakley: As nasty as Barbara Boxer; as stupid as Patty Murray. She’ll fit right in with the senate, if what we are looking for is “more of the same

More, Dorothy Rabinowitz won a Pultizer for writing about the Amirault cases in Massachusetts.   Her latest, from the Wall Street Journal [3]:

The story of the Amiraults of Massachusetts, and of the prosecution that had turned the lives of this thriving American family to dust, was well known to the world by the year 2001. It was well known, especially, to District Attorney Martha Coakley, who had by then arrived to take a final, conspicuous, role in a case so notorious as to assure that the Amiraults’ name would be known around the globe.

The charges against Gerald Amirault are prosperous on their face, had no physical evidence and no reliable witnesses.    Yet Coakley persists in her persecution of Amirault.

While there is nothing Gerald Amiraultz can do to convince Coakley of his innocence,  Coakley seems to have convicted John McCormach of the Weekly Standard by virtue of the fact that McCormack dared questions of her royal highness,  from William A. Jacobson, Legal Insurrection: [4]

Coakley’s non-reaction to the assault, even though she knew that the reporter only was trying to ask a question, is the big story here.

There is something to see here, so do not move along.

Coakley is a mean and nasty person.    No matter what happens on Tuesday, that will not change.
