None Dare Call It Pride

from Weekly Standard, via Nice De [1]b:

Last Friday, an attaché of important gay people from Philadelphia made a trip to Washington D.C. as invited guests of President Barack Obama for the White House’s first-ever gay pride reception. There, they danced to the sounds of a Marine Corps band; they dined on crab cakes and canapés; they hand-delivered letters from concerned citizens like this 18-year old who has had four people close to him gunned down, and noted rhyming raconteur CA Conrad; and some of them took advantage of photo opportunities to give the late President Ronald Reagan the middle finger.

Reax:

Hat Tip: Nice Deb [1]Absolutely no one should be surprised by any of this. As the President panders to one “special interest group” after another, predictably the most radical and militant subsets of his favored groups (i.e., his base) end up appalling the country and embarrassing him. See the Occupy movement, union thugs, Dan Savage, pro-illegal immigration rallies, etc for more on this phenomenon.

Note to the Weekly Standard:  shame on you Bill Kristol. You would never allow a person to be described as an important heterosexual. Certainly nobody is important merely because they profess to be  homosexual.

President Fifty Seven States, a/k/a Dumbo, a/k/a Dim Won,  b/k/a Barack Obama has pandered to a lot of special interest groups,  the American taxpayer specially exempted.   If this population had any pride, they would exhibit respect in the People’s House.
