In the discussion group elsewhere today, someone popped up and made the spurious charge that all this never Trump nonsense, so he said, was nothing but jealousy.
My response?
“You know, the same charge was made when conservatives attacked Obama. What about what we said then, turned out to be untrue?
Look, I recognize that the Democrats are going after him with both barrels, but does anybody really expect that they would do anything less if Rubio, Cruz, or, even Mitt Romney were in the top spot? I think we can safely discount the Democrats and their complaints as noise level that would be in the room anyway, and concentrate on what the conservatives have been saying about Donald Trump.
The conservatives have been dead-on accurate about Barack Hussein Obama. Explain to me how suddenly we lose all credibility in your eyes, where Donald Trump is concerned, when the living proof of our accuracy is still residing in the White House.”
So said I. Of course, I haven’t received a reply, nor do I expect one.
