FBI Narrative About the Jan. 6th Capitol ‘Insurrection’ Is IMPLODING – Time for the FBI to be Ended.

Victoria Taft has a must-read [1] going this morning:

An explosive report over the weekend claims to show that two alleged Capitol riot participants were actually government informants. The New York Times reported Saturday that “records, and information from two people familiar with the matter, suggest that federal law enforcement had a far greater visibility into the assault on the Capitol, even as it was taking place, than was previously known.”

Federal law enforcement. In other words, the FBI.

Though several Proud Boys are charged with a conspiracy, this latest informant maintains that there was never any plan by the group to violently storm the Capitol and, indeed, there’s evidence to back that claim.

Indeed, the paper concludes the obvious: that “the new information is likely to complicate the government’s efforts to prove the high-profile conspiracy charges it has brought against several members of the Proud Boys.”

Huh. You don’t say?

It’s more than obvious that the FBI is being used as a political tool by the left. It’s also clear to me that the New York times waited until there would be no consequences for the story being sat on, to release it.

As for the FBI’s operatives, it’s obvious to me that they’re being protected. As Taft says;

Oddly, despite the “shock and awe” prosecutions, Rhodes hasn’t been indicted in the Capitol riot case, but, as the publication noted, it was his actions leading up to the Capitol riot for which his underlings have been charged with conspiracy.

Let me add my voice to those who feel that it’s time to abolish the FBI. Howie Carr got out in front of this one back in 2018, and he comments on this one today…  you might want to read this [2] one as well.

Even by dismal modern FBI standards, though, the news just keeps getting worse and worse.

Last week, one of Hillary Clinton’s lawyers was indicted by Russian collusion hoax Special Counsel John Durham. The Democrat operative was charged with lying to a James Comey briefer about one of the largely forgotten lies in the Russian hoax — Alfa Bank’s “secret servers,” which of course didn’t exist except in the fevered imaginations of far-left Democrats and their stenographers in the media.

That’s called foot dragging, that 5 years. And if the FBI had had their way, it wouldn’t have happened at all.

Five years! It took that long to bring a single one of these bent Democrats before the bar of justice. But then, in this case, as in so many others involving the FBI, the cops are the actual criminals.

The joke in this latest bust is that obviously the FBI knew that Hillary’s lawyer was lying when he told the agent that he was peddling his ludicrously false stories.

Maybe not, though. They’re not making special agents like Inspector Lew Erskine anymore.

Durham’s indictment happened the same week that a newly declassified court rulings showed that the FBI had 100% lied during its illegal investigation into Trump aide Carter Page.

In the FBI’s botched frame-up of Page, one FBI lawyer has already been convicted of obstructing justice, although his punishment scarcely rose to the level of a slap on the wrist.

And yet … and yet … the alt-left media, which spent more than two years running one fake story after another about Russia-Russia-Russia, yawns. Could it be because they gave themselves Pultizer Prizes for their “deeply sourced” stories about … stuff that never happened, that they swallowed credulously because … Orange Man Bad?

Exactly,

Sorry, folks, there’s no other way around this one… And the FBI’s lack of action here speaks loudly of similar purposes.

There’s no avoiding it anymore. It’s time for the corrupt FBI to land on the ash heap of History.

Of course, the trouble is the current occupant of the White House. Since the FBI serves at the behest of the executive branch, and the executive branch loves big government these days, the chances of them pulling the plug on the left’s corrupt enforcement arm is very small indeed.
