It’s interesting watching Donald Trump playing four-dimensional chess with Trudeau.
Trudeau is probably the least popular Canadian prime minister in my lifetime and every indication is that he’s about to be replaced by Pierre
Poilievre, as soon as Canadian citizens are allowed to vote on the matter.
Two possibilities come to mind neither one of which are exclusive:
, Trump is setting conditions that will force an election to be called.
*Trump understands that Poilievre will be far easier to deal with
Barring the unforeseen there’s only one way this is going to come out, and it isn’t going to favor Trudeau.
