Skin in the Game

Interesting data points coming from the pollsters today:

Nearly two-thirds of voters back President Donald Trump’s effort to deport members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, and about half want to impeach the federal judge who ordered a halt to the deportations.

If we assume that the split between the Democrats and everybody else is exactly on the 50% line, (which is as close as no matter I believe) then we are forced to conclude that there are a large number of Democrats approving of Trump’s actions, here.

Apparently Trump derangement syndrome doesn’t extend quite so far once the implications of Democrat party policy (open borders, for one thing) become clear.

These numbers are nothing short of Earth shaking as regards the election possibilities for the Democrats, for the foreseeable future.

The concerning feature of these numbers is the other one third, where, obviously, Trump derangement syndrome has leverage over the safety of American citizens. I must assume that group has not been exposed to the danger posed by these gangs. That their loved ones haven’t been coming down with ailments (measles etc) being paraded across the border for the last 4 years.

I am forced to wonder what would convince that one third?
