I’m just going to say this without even bothering to link to anything.
I believe the perfect Republican ticket for 2024 is Trump/ DeSantis…
Absent the current bickering between those two, they would be a hard combination to beat.
Oh, I grant you that two years is a long time but frankly two more years in the hands of this administration is the strongest motivation I can think of for voters to return us to the policies both pistol and social that we had in the Trump years. As the old saying goes, the burned hand is the finest teachers.
What needs to happen is Governor DeSantis needs to get over himself. His actions as regards Trump recently I regard as ungrateful and opportunistic. He needs to remember that absent Trump’s involvement in his career he would not be Florida Governor today much less seeking National office.
Together they can achieve great things and to return to the policies both he and Trump say they want. But first the governor must mend some fences.
The question is does he have the integrity to do that?
