Uh-oh… the Man’s Talking Sense.

You need to listen to Fred Thompson on Laura Ingraham’s show yesterday.

I’m starting to think we have a winner, here.

    I dislike arguement by analogy, but I make one anyhow Dwight D. Eisenhower, and not the hairstyle. Fred Thompson is a man who is willing to be president, but does not crave the office, like Ike.  Fred does not seem willing to to the rubber chicken circuit to raise the millions need for a national primary in February of next year.  Will there be any state which hasn’t moved up by then?

    To win a national primary will take untold millions of dollars which Thompson does not have and is not in a position to generate.  Thompson will only become the nominee if he is adopted by the conservative movement, and becomes the movement’s consensus canidate.

    I sure like the way Fred sounds, which is to say presidential.  He talks about possibities and reality and not pie in the sky, ala Mrs. Clinton.  Fred is read to govern in the world in which we live and not, some Mrs. Clinton dream world.

    Oh yeah, I kinda think Laura on board.
