Hillary ClintonMaybe Glenn Reynolds is right.  Mrs. Pelosi is trying to kill Mrs. Clinton’s chance of ever becoming president.   Mrs. Pelosi perfectly executed the Clinton Doctrine, which is to stab your friends in the back and make nice to  your enemies.   I  mean, Democrats are perfectly willing to talk to Basher Assad, but they not willing to talk to Chris Wallace of Fox News.

Speaker PelosiMrs. Pelosi’s scorecard for her Middle East trip recieved a perfect score, using the Clinton Scoring System.   Mrs. Pelosi stabbed every friend of the American People in the back and pleased every tyrant.  The Middle East Media Relations Institute sums up Mrs. Pelosi’s trip, “Pelosi Rewarded the Hangman and Turned Her Back on the Victim.”   For her perfidy, Mrs. Pelosi is awarded the Clinton Doctrine Play of the Week.

  1. Something odd about this, and certainly unplanned on the part of the Democrats… that shows what a strong forign policy position will give you from a political standpoint.

Mr. Bush has taken a strong stand against our enemy.  If the Democrats are to oppose him on EVERYTHING, it’s a natural that they should take the side of our enemy… thus the snuggling up by Mrs Pelosi to Assad.

How that’s going to sit with the American people…. well, I think it’ll come out otherwise from what she expects.

  2. Mrs. Pelosi is getting lambssted by everybody over her trip. Any defense has been tepid and uninspired. The qustion becomes just how smart in Mrs. Pelosi. Glenn Reynolds seems to hold that her I.Q. is somewhat above room temperature.

For the Bithead doctrine to be true, Mrs. Pelosi needs the mentality of a teenager. What ever his paraents say, he does the exact opposite. Mrs. Pelosi please don’t jump off that cliff!

The cat box theory, holds thst Mrs. Pelosi see the Beltway as her personal cat box and figures there is only room for one top cat, and she wants to be it.

We tried the Clinton Doctrine for eight years and got attacked every one of them, from WTC I to the USS Cole.
