I made some serious noise the other day as regards Peter Mehlman and his idiocy passing as politics.

John Gibson of Fox news, apparently got this moron on his radio program yesterday. I have to say up front end of the John Gibson is a particularly strong interviewer; you it’s an awful lot of stuff slip that shouldn’t.  But in this case, Gibson  basically walked up to one side and down the other of Mehlman, with cleats on…. and Hotair has the audio.

  1. I thought about doing an addendum, Mehlman is just not worth it.  I suggest that Mehlman can to disposed of with the Reverse Tip O’Neill Rule.  The Tipster asserted that is was not tne nature of the evidence that matters but the seriousness of the charge.  I argue that it is tha nature of the evidence that matters.

Hehlman belief that Bush is worse that Hitler is based only on Hehlman personal opinion, and Hehlaan unlmited faith in his ability to read Bush’s mind and to fathom the Dubya’s intentions.  All Hehlman has is his opinion which to say nothing.

  2. I chose to follow up on the guy, because I consider him and his comments to be emblematic of the problem. as the interview with Gibson clearly reveals, mere facts don’t enter into his equations… being generally trumped by emotion.  Thing is, it’s not just him.  If it was we wouldn’t even be having this conversation.

  3. WRT the libs reliance on pure emotion, a little Peggy Lee, “Is that all there is?”

  4. My thoughts exactly.
