The National Rifle Association has some 4.3 million dues paying members, for which it is referred to by the main stream media as the “gun lobby.”
In stark contrast, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has about 1,700 dues paying members, for which the main stream media refers to CAIR as if it were the Moslem community. The next time you read some beathless MSM reporting on CAIR, remember that the order of magnitude between the number of writers at Bitsblog to the paid membership of CAiR is about the same as that of CAIR to the NRA.
CAIR is not a grass roots political organization, it is a paid political lobby. The question is paid for by whom?
