From a speech by the only American to have a day singularly in his honor, Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr. from American Rhetoric:

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

The pitfalls of working with whites as per the White Privilege Conference, include:

18.  Practice Colorblindness.

28.  Believe the greatest achievement they can make is to transcend race or ethnicity.

Hat tip: Gateway Pundit.

I don’t view racism is a vice, but rather a fact.   Show me a person who denies being racist, and I will show you either a fool or a liar.   Colorblindness simply does not work.

We listened to the speech.  We tried colorblindness.   It did not work.  Can we please have the holiday back?
