Look, I’m already on record as suggesting that electric vehicles are a niche market. If there’s anything going on that way, it’s down to the fad wearing off, and people beginning to understand that there are times when what’s being offered in the EV market is impractical.
So it is that I’m always amused when the usual suspects start claiming that their rhetoric and their violence are having a negative effect on Tesla sales. The Tesla brand is over because of the lefts objections to Elon Musk. Etc etc, bull squat, bull squat.
As usual, the line being fed to Us by such critters, is simply untrue. Here it is, gang:
TESLA OUTSOLD THE NEXT 10 EV BRANDS COMBINED IN Q1 2025
Tesla remained far ahead of the competition in Q1 2025, selling 128,100 EVs — more than the next 10 brands combined.
The Model Y and Model 3 continued to lead the charts, showing Tesla’s strong grip on the U.S. electric vehicle market.
Overall, EV sales in the U.S. grew to nearly 300,000 units, with Tesla driving the momentum forward.
