John Edwards Invokes the Role of the Faith Healer

Illinois Leader:

“Yesterday John Edwards said, ‘When John Kerry is the president people like Christopher Reeve are going to walk again!’ implying that Christopher Reeve could have been helped by embryonic stem cell research. “

Well, now isn’t THIS a target rich environment?

Well, the Fact of course, are different.

  • There is no connection whatever between Reeve’s death and stem cell research.
  • The President, contrary to the claims of the Democrats, has imposed no ban on such research in any event.

    • But it sure SOUNDED good, huh?
