UMM NASER VILLAGE, Gaza Strip —AP- The convoy of the new Palestinian interior minister came under fire Tuesday as it arrived at the scene of a large sewage spill that killed three people and submered 25 homes in the northern Gaza Strip, a Hamas Web site reported.
Interior Minister Hani Kawasmeh wasn’t hurt, the Web site said.
Kawasmeh had just arrived to inspect the scene of the disaster, which forced thousands of residents to evacuate the village. His car was quickly surrounded by an angry mob, and gunfire broke out, the Web site said.
At least three people died and many more were missing after sewage and mud flooded a northern Gaza Strip village, officials said.
I guess when you’re spending all your time and money trying to think up ways to kill the jews, you don’t have a whole bunch left to spend on things like, well, sewers, and basic services.
