* What fascist in history has ever sought to shrink government? Next time you hear one of your left wing friends tell you about how Trump is a fascist, hit them with that question. The stunned silence will speak volumes.

* Taylor Swift concerts are a controlled atmosphere by virtue of the fact that only people that like her and her music are going to pay the big bucks to see her perform. Her reaction to being booed very loudly at the super bowl must have been a bit of a shock. For the first time in a long time there was evidence in her face that she is not nearly as popular in the general public as she had believed. And, speaking of her face, the look on it told the story.

* If it wasn’t for inconsistent standards they wouldn’t have any at all.

* Word on the wire is that that character that killed the healthcare executive has received something on the order of $300,000 donations for his legal defense fund. Given the profile of this case, my take is that the figure seems a little low. And I would be interested to see where the money was coming from.

* That anybody is willing to publicly defend this animal’s actions is troubling, but then again look at what else the left has been defending. Usaid for example. The bison crime family. Anthony fauci. The list goes on and on. Defending the indefensible appears to be something of a character trait for the Democrat party these days. There can be little doubt that there will be electoral consequences for those defenses.
