The socialist left has been saying for generations now that we could solve all of our problems as a nation by forcing the rich to pay more in taxes.
Well, I guess that we are supposed to forget that they already pay more than anybody else. I have been responding for many years by pointing out that we don’t have a problem of not collecting enough taxes, we have a problem of too much spending. Way too much.
I must say that I take a certain level of satisfaction these days adding that the stuff that Elon Musk and his team at dug up even just what they’ve dug up so far more than bears that statement out.
I would further suggest that the reason that the left is so annoyed with Elon Musk listening the fraud and abuse that’s been going on for generations now is because they and their policies are the fraud and abuse that he’s pointing out.
I’ll even go a step further than that. One of the complaints the left has been leveling is that he’s using computer geeks as opposed to accountants. I have a couple responses to this.
Given the number of things that they’ve already dug up which the left is now forced to defend, thus forcing them into the position of defending the indefensible, do they really think that actual accountants will come up with results that are more favorable for the left? I think we both know better than that.
Another thing about the supposed youth have been experience of his team. These people know computers inside outside and backwards. I’ve got an extensive history and the it divisions of a major Bank. I can tell you that I know a very few 7 year olds that can’t out operate their parents on today’s technology.
Put these lame arguments in the end are product of the left desperation. Then again I guess if I had a seemingly unlimited amount of funding to do with it whatever I felt like doing, whatever I felt I could get away with, I guess I’d be pretty desperate too if that funding suddenly got cut off, particularly if there were criminal connotations to obtaining that funding… As it turns out there is.
