Dave Strom this morning:
The Party of Black Lives Matter, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and decolonization gives Mayor Pete Buttigieg, technocratic dweeb, the #1 slot in the race to become the 2028 nominee for president. Mayor Pete has a lot of fans in the Democratic Party, although I will explain to you why his #1 rating means a lot less than you might think in a moment. First, we should take note that Mayor Pete is not so popular with a key constituency that Democrats must win by an 80-20 margin to have a shot in the general election: black voters.
Which means, dear reader, that even assuming he gets the nomination, he cannot win. The rather dramatic shift away from the Democrats in the most recent election shows no sign of being reversed or even of slowing slightly. It was widely observed that the lack of black voter support was what saved us from a Harris presidency…(otherwise known as a fourth term of Barry Sowetto.)… so we can figure that we’re safe in the next cycle as well.
