I don’t know what to say, Billy, except that if you’re going to go, it may as well be with family and friends, a few beers, and a few smiles. Too often, it goes the other way.. suddenly, painfully, and alone.
And yes, I see no reason to change your opening number. Somehow, I think of all the people at that party, the one having the best time will be Bill himself. And isn’t that the point of the party, in a way?
In case I’m not making this clear, that post touched me… and I didn’t even know the dude.
