Kristen Gillibrand is no longer running for President.
The first of the major names to drop out of the 2020 Democrat Party race for the nomination, would seem to confirm everything I’ve said about who will make it through this race to the nomination.
Christian Gillibrand announcing her dropping out
Despite playing the gender card to the max, she simply couldn’t gain enough traction among the loudest of the snowflakes.
(Yeah, I know, mixing metaphors. I promise you it won’t be the last time.)
Here’s the thing:
I can pretty much guarantee you that about half the Democrat Party didn’t even know Kristen Gillibrand was even in the race.
And that point goes directly to my suspicion that the entirety of this race for the nomination is being managed and directed, by people who do not really represent even the majority of the Democratic Party.
Which leads us to the logical conclusion that anyone who makes it past the nomination process will never make it through the general election.
Let’s take a close look at the top three candidates for the Democrat party’s presidential nomination.
It must really gaul Elizabeth Warren that the person who has done her the most political damage in her entire political career was Donald Trump.
Face it… if it wasn’t for Trump, the business with Warren claiming she was native American would not have come to a crashing, embarrassing end,

By the actions of the president, her entire political career of lying about being a native American was exposed. I don’t know about you, but if it were me I would not be very pleased if I were a minority, that she still has a political career at all. If she were a Republican, such exposure certainly would have ended ended her career.
Speaking of people who shouldn’t have a political career anymore…. Joe Biden. I mean, even leaving aside his gaffetastic nature and his well -documented touchy- feely past, there are other issues that should have ended his political life.

Example… Maybe you guys don’t remember, but I do… Joe Biden wanting to amend the Constitution to end interracial busing. Have you noticed that the news media hasn’t even touched on that point?
Then of course there is Bernie Sanders.

This is the guy who has been preaching forever about income inequality, from one of his three houses.
So those are the leaders of the race for the nomination of the Democratic Party. But what do we really have here?
What we have here is a group of old, white, millionaires.
The average age of the leaders of the democratic nomination race is 74 years old. if you are 70 plus it’s going to be a little difficult to sell yourself as the party of young ideas..
All three are pasty white… (despite at least one of them trying to pass themselves off as something other than that.)
All three have made multiple millions of dollars whilst hip-deep in government. That alone should give anyone with a functioning brain cell a pause. Wasn’t it Harry Truman who observed that nobody can get rich in politics unless they’re crooked?
Indeed, this race is on track with precisely what I predicted months ago. It is now a little more then a contest how much of other people’s money each candidate can promise the voter.
Meanwhile Donald Trump’s approval numbers amongst the minorities that Joe Biden didn’t want to bus in, blacks and Hispanics, continue to rise over the last six months. Trump’s approval rating among blacks is on the order of 25% and among Hispanics, 50%. If those trends continue, Trump will be completely unbeatable in 15 months time. (Still wonder about why the 1619 project is being pushed by the left?)
This is the best group of people that the Democrat Party has to offer America today.
Ilhan Omar, representive(MN-5) purports both by word and deed to a Muslim and a supporter of Sharia law, from Conservative Daily
Ilhan Omar and her compatriots in “the squad” hate America and hate Jews, especially Isreal which they have spoken out against while proclaiming to be pro-American. They attack racism while being racists themselves. This is a very serious ruse to gain your favor and thus gain power over us. Omar is especially dangerous. She supports Sharia law which is indicative by the various headscarves she wears. That is not a fashion statement. In the Muslim world under Sharia law, a woman is not allowed to show her hair. Omar also hangs around Linda Sarsour who has advocated Sharia law for this country and has been seen in pictures with her.
Now from Bitsblog double secret embed in Minnesota we have news of Representative Omar’s adultery, from Scott Johnson, Power Line:
This is a big week for the Minnesota media. They are now permitting their consumers to catch up with the news delivered last month by the Daily Mail. That is, Ilhan Omar has separated from the husband she just got around to marrying last year (i.e., Ahmed Hirsi) and taken up with a married man (i.e., Tim Mynett) who works for her as a consultant. The Daily Mail even tracked down the expensive apartment into which Omar has moved and tracked down Ahmed Hirsi in Minneapolis for a “no comment.” The Minnesota media haven’t gotten there yet, but they have opened the door to the subject.
So I ask the good Congress woman, when she will voluntarily deport herself back to Somalia, and surrender to a Sharia court? The Sharia penalty for adultery by the woman is execution by stoning.
Criminal News Network(CNN) host Brian Stelter consented to a quest Allen Frances calling President Trump worse than Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler and Mao Zedong, but evidently not worse than Pol Pot video:
If Stelter had but two working brains cells to rub together and a ruditmental knowledge of socialism, he would know that if President Trump was worse than Mao, both Stelter and Frances would have dragged out of the studio, put against a wall, been shot and have worms dining on their rotten corpses by now.
Aside, and have their families charged for the bullets.
Not satisfied with one Obama regime liar one James Clapper, the Criminal News Network(CNN) has hired yet another, to wit one Andrew McCabe, from Washington Examiner:
If you’re wondering why people don’t trust the media, look no further than the hiring of these two liars. CNN has sent a clear message to those in government: If you lose your position of public trust because you lie under oath, you can always land a job at CNN — at least as long as your lie was for a good cause, such as the resistance to Trump, or presumably to whatever Republican presidents are elected in the future.
If the FBI decides to give McCabe the Roger Stone Treatment, can CNN be trusted to give similar network coverage? I, for one, doubt it.
The reaction to Gillette’s ad campaign was eminently predictable:
“P&G reported a net loss of about $5.24 billion, or $2.12 per share, for the quarter ended June 30, due to an $8 billion non-cash writedown of Gillette,” Reuters reported at the end of July. “For the same period last year, P&G’s net income was $1.89 billion, or 72 cents per share.”

You know, it sounds for all the world like the ad executive the Gillette hired to do this nonsense is the same one that had the Conquistador Coffee account.(Yes, that’s a Monty Python reference.)
We will start with this:
I am seeing absolutely no enthusiasm whatsoever among Joe Biden supporters.
None.
The reactions I have been seeing from Iowa voters to questions about it, suggest that those people feel they must vote for Biden, bad as he is, to keep the far-left wackjobs that predominate this primary, from getting the nomination.
The responses seem to fall basically into two categories.
Either A; the understanding is if one of the far-left loons actually wins the nomination, the Democrats have absolutely no chance whatsoever in the general election.
Or, B; The rank-and-file Democrat is not going to hold his nose and vote for the leftist whack jobs, under any circumstance. Strange’s it sounds for me to suggest that Democrats have anything like principles driving them, I suggest that’s what happened to Hillary Clinton particularly in places like Pennsylvania. The Democrats simply sat on their hands and wouldn’t vote for her.
So, while Biden says repeatedly and continuously, “I can beat Trump.”.. The fact is that isn’t true either. ..
Joe Biden lacks the dynamism that is required to unseat a sitting president. The only two occasions…. the only two people that have managed to do that are Ronald Reagan, and Bill Clinton. Joe Biden simply isn’t in that league.
Is baggage is far too great, is gaffs are far too pronounced, and he is clearly not far enough to the left to satisfy half the party.
While I’m afraid that I don’t share the childlike optimism of Rush Limbaugh which says Trump already has his re-election won. After all, there’s a long time between here and there and a great deal can happen. But in looking at the Democrats and looking at the history of this thing, (and keeping in mind the numerous investigations into the criminality surrounding the Democrats in the previous election… The results of which will be coming out before November 2020, as well as Trump’s approval numbers among blacks and Hispanics being higher then they have been for any Republican president in my memory with the possible exception of Reagan, I’d say the Democrats chances of winning the White House stand at somewhere south of 50%.
As I was saying yesterday…the Democrats screaming about slavery all of a sudden is a total ruse…
A Cornell University scholar cited in a recent New York Times piece tying slavery to capitalism was previously found to have inflated statistics, invented facts, and altered quotes, according to fellow academics in his field.
I would urge you to read the whole article. I predict you will be asking yourself Wyatt is that the left has to make up stuff out of whole cloth.
To the only answer, I fear, is that the actual supply of facts that mesh with their political agenda is far smaller than their demands.
Judicial watch has been busy lately…
Judicial Watch today released 34 pages of “302” report material from FBI interviews with Bruce Ohr, who was removed from his position as U.S. Associate Deputy Attorney General in December 2017.
I would urge you to do your own research on this but…
“The FISA courts weren’t informed of this corrupted process when they were asked to approve and reapprove extraordinary spy warrants targeting President Trump.”
In all honesty I have no illusions about this meaning the leftist cabal being collectively jailed.
But you know, if it was going to happen, October would be a wonderful time.
Those of you who understand what a flash mob is, will understand that, for example, a random group of hundreds of people does not show up at a specific place and time, sing a chorus of “Alice’s Restaurant”, and then wander calmly off in different directions again, without there being some planning, communication, and direction.
So by way of Billy Beck, this little snippet comes from the land of sucker.. errr… Zucker:
The “History of Capitalism” group has been arguing that America was made richer by slavery (sometimes going as far as highlighting that the South was the most prosperous region of the US — it was not). The facts they cite to make that case do not allow them to say such a thing. If anything, a proper understanding of slavery suggests that a counterfactual America without slavery would have been better off than the “actual” America. In this piece for AIER, I make the case that to the heavy legacy of slavery (i.e. enduring racism, segregation, violence), we must add a relatively poorer America.
Billy responds, correctly:
It is simply not true, and the left is lying about it.
Well, of course they’re lying about it, (remember, these are the folks that are calling Ben Shapiro a Nazi and Candace Owens a white supremacist)…but they’re all lying together, and that’s telling.
The argument mentioned in the passage that Billy quotes, is also being made by others on the left.
Limbaugh from day before yesterday:
Six days ago. Six days ago — you gotta keep in mind here — let me say one thing. The Russia collusion hoax is dead. It died. It failed. They did not get rid of Trump. Impeachment failed. It’s gone. Every hope, everything that they had developed to get rid of Trump was wrapped up in Russian collusion and the Mueller report. And so it failed. Therefore they have to move on to something else.
Do you know what the “something else” is? You do without me telling you. Trump is a racist. All white people are white supremacists and white nationalists. Racism is now not enough by itself. Because it’s been so overused it’s lost the impact. So now we’re all white nationalists or we are all white racists and that’s what Trump is.
So six days ago on the 13th of August there was a tweet little noticed from an infobabe at the New York Times. “In the days and weeks to come,” it begins, “we will publish essays demonstrating that nearly everything that has made America exceptional grew out of slavery.” Are you aware – I talked about it last week — do you remember that the editor of the New York Times, the executive editor Dean Baquet had to call a staff meeting because of unrest in the newsroom?
And it was recorded. Somebody recorded it and transcribed it, and it has leaked. And the subject matter was the editor of the New York Times explaining to the people in the newsroom what the next project is. Since Trump-Russia collusion failed, an attack on America as racist since its founding is now the new project at the New York Times.
In the Times’ view (which it hopes to make the view of millions of Americans), the country was actually founded in 1619, when the first Africans were brought to North America, to Virginia, to be sold as slaves.
This year marks the 400th anniversary of that event, and the Times has created something called the 1619 Project. This is what the paper hopes the project will accomplish: “It aims to reframe the country’s history, understanding 1619 as our true founding, and placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of black Americans at the very center of the story we tell ourselves about who we are.”
Another, more concise statement from the Times: “The goal of The 1619 Project is to reframe American history.”
The basic thrust of the 1619 Project is that everything in American history is explained by slavery and race. The message is woven throughout the first publication of the project, an entire edition of the Times magazine. It begins with an overview of race in America — “Our democracy’s founding ideals were false when they were written. Black Americans have fought to make them true.” — written by Times writer Nikole Hannah-Jones, who on Twitter uses the identity Ida Bae Wells, from the crusading late 19th-early 20th century African American journalist Ida B. Wells.
The essays go on to cover the economy (“If you want to understand the brutality of American capitalism, you have to start on the plantation.”), the food we eat (“The sugar that saturates the American diet has a barbaric history as the ‘white gold’ that fueled slavery.”), the nation’s physical health (“Why doesn’t the United States have universal healthcare? The answer begins with policies enacted after the Civil War.”), politics (“America holds onto an undemocratic assumption from its founding: that some people deserve more power than others.”), daily life (“What does a traffic jam in Atlanta have to do with segregation? Quite a lot.”), and much more.
Limbaugh suggests in his piece of the other day that the whole thing is a hoax, basically agreeing with Billy. And of course they’re both right. But when a whole bunch of supposedly random individuals shows up and starts singing the same song, there is some orchestration going on. and that’s what’s going on here. Somebody is spending serious money to get this idea out into the public, prior to the next election.
Gee, I wonder who that could be?

In going through my notes of the last several days I am once again struck by the symbolism being used by the Hong Kong protesters. Singing OUR national anthem, waving the American flag.

There are several points that arise from this. The first and most obvious, is where they are getting the American flags from… the answer is that a quite large percentage of American flags are made in Hong Kong these days.
Second and perhaps more telling, is the juxtaposition the American left who has for the last number of decades has been extolling the virtues of socialism and the division of America it’s flag, it’s Constitution, it’s national anthem, and for that matter, its nationality, versus the protesters in Hong Kong extolling the American flag, singing the national anthem, extolling the virtues of individual freedom and rejecting the socialism that the American left has been pushing.
This rather stark and telling contrast is paralleled by another… Illegals on our southern border having arrived from Venezuela who have been flatly informing ICE officials that living in detention centers on our southern border is infinitely preferable to living in Venezuela given the conditions there which of course are a product of the socialism put into play there years ago.
Understandably, these are points the leftist media here in the states has not been pursuing with anywhere near the same vigor that they pursued every nuance of the Russia collusion scam. Such coverage would be counterproductive to their primary goal. Indeed, such coverage would be totally destructive to their primary goal, which has, as has been discussed many times is the advancement of the political goals of the worldwide left which Hong Kong finds itself desperately trying to escape, while the Chinese government is desperately trying to keep them under heel. (I’ll get into my suspicions of Twitter complicity at another time.)
It is clear that these protesters in Hong Kong view America as did Ronald Reagan who described it as the last best Hope For freedom in the world.
If only we can get the Democrat Party to understand that, half as well as the people of Venezuela and Hong Kong.
The protest against the Chinese communist government in Hong Kong continues to grow larger with every passing week.
So far, the protests have been peaceful. The protesters are quite aware that the slightest hint of violence will give the Chinese government looking for the crackdown on those protests. So far, that hasn’t happened.
Picture of the sheer size of these protests. I am seeing reports that last weekend’s protests were attended by one point seven million people. That’s like the entire borough of Manhattan standing up to be counted. (Ironically the residents of Manhattan would be more likely protesting in favor of socialism that Hong Kong’s people have rejected.)

Reports I’m hearing suggest that the people taking part in these protests, know very well what they’re up against. They know that got a snowball’s chance in the Sahara to actually cause positive change toward their desired democracy. Yet, they keep it up simply because they don’t have anything else to go with. They know their efforts and quite likely they themselves doomed, and they keep fighting anyway. It brings to mind the old saying about how you can vote yourself into socialism, but you’re going to have to fight your way out of it. The trouble of course is that with weapons being banned in Hong Kong as in the case of the rest of China itself, they no longer have anything to fight with but their voices… and unfortunately that has proven totally ineffective.
For its part, China has a choice before it and I sense a hesitation in choosing amongst their two choices. They can either go the path of Gorbachov or the more likley path of Tiananmen square.
II am not at all convinced this is going to end well for the people of Hong Kong, particularly with China seeking to flex its military muscle in the region and around the world for that matter. Then again, I made that prediction back in 1984. I viewed it as merely a matter of time before any semblance of individual freedom was gone for the people of Hong Kong. The Chinese have been playing the long game on this, and that’s something that we in the west have never learned how to play.
Apparently, Arthur Chrenkoff and myself are not the only two people on the planet that have noticed the trend. In Powerline:
It has always been considered bad form to point out that the German Nazis had a conscious environmental quotient to their ideology, but what’s this? The Washington Post noted yesterday that two of the recent mass shooters—the New Zealand shooter last year and the El Paso shooter two weeks ago—embraced environmental themes, fusing them together in fact with anti-immigration views. The Post is shocked and befuddled at this seeming anomaly (though to be fair, the Post notes as briefly as possible: “Ecofascism has deep roots. There is a strong element of it in the Nazi emphasis on “blood and soil,” and the fatherland. . .) But this is only anomalous to clueless liberals, who suffer cognitive impairment when it comes to imagining the connection between the anti-natalism of the “population bomb” mentality and seeing immigration as a driver of population growth… Gee—where would these kids have learned these ideas about our despairing future?* Oh that’s right—from just about any eco-tract, university course, or leading politician (let’s recall the similarities between the Unabomber manifesto and Al Gore’s Earth in the Balance.)
Wow. Deja vu.

I made the same point, back in 1998 after a mass shooting in California. I said then, in part:
Of the people affected by cultural change… a change of the roots, if you will, it is younger people, whose roots have not been established, who would be the most affected. No shock, therefore, that the largest number of crimes, particularly the massive violence under discussion, would be teenagers.
Simply put:These teenagers have lost hope.
And why?
Let’s look at the agenda of the modern America, as driven by the left…Perhaps we’ll find a pattern there. We’re told that man is destroying the earth. The problem is that too many of us exist, we’re told. We’re told that man is a problem for the further existence of the earth. We’re told that we can’t make it without that government handout. We learn quickly, thereby, that we have no real say in our lives, and therefore, no future. As if to give credence to the thinking that life is worthless, abortion has become commonplace. Jack Kevorkian is teaching us that killing ourselves is a valid option, and the government is at least powerless if not unwilling to deal with the issue. Every value we have ever had as a culture is now being abandoned by the government.. Indeed, the government has become outright hostile to the traditional values of the culture that built said government. Can such things be without consequence? The evidence suggests not.
Both parents now work regardless of wanting to or not, simply to pay the taxes… because the taxes imposed by the government consume upwards of 60-65% or our annual income. What kind of basic value will children hold of themselves when parents find they have to work? I understand well the forces that drive such choices, (being driven by
them myself;) but can such choices be without consequence? The evidence suggests not.Mothers who stay at home are universally castigated by the feminist left, as ‘not being in touch with themselves’ and ‘being a burden on the sisterhood’ whatever the hell THAT is. Can this kind of disdain for traditional family values be without consequence? The evidence suggests not.
Remember when America used to have leaders whom you could look up to? Political leaders, ball players, and to a larger degree than today, even film and TV stars were people which could be held up as examples. Granted, many were never perfect, but they were trying to live up to the then universally held American ideals. Who do we have to hold up in their place today? PeeWee Herman. Tupac Shakur. Madonna. Dennis Rodman. The Spice Girls. Larry Flynt, Bill Clinton. Can this be without consequence? The evidence suggests not.
Is anyone of sound mind, foolish enough to suggest that our governmentally induced transition from a values-based society to what is now an essentially valueless society, which provides little if any hope on an individual level, has no effect negative on the people
within it?History, I think, will record the greatest failure of the governments of the last 60 years, to be not in the financial or political areas, and not with it’s law enforcement, regarding guns, but in the cultural… I.E.; support of the majority culture, and the values that it holds dear. Because in the final view, it’s this which is causing the violence, not guns, per se’. Guns are simply a tool. What people do with guns, and for that matter, what they do with all other weapons of every type, and indeed, how they deal with all conflicts, and live their lives , is a product of their environs, as focused through their values.
And when you remove the values, our sense of right and wrong, the rest falls away.
What we need to reduce the violence, therefore, is a reinforced value structure, that, unlike what the left has been forcing on us, does not run afoul of traditional American culture.. Liberals of the last 40 years are afraid of this, they don’t want to be seen as being ‘judgmental’. This is not an issue that is going to be solved by ‘finding the middle path’. If we really want to stop the violence, instead of making political points from it…it’s time to move those of the left who have for decades be neutering our value structure, in the name of ‘cultural diversity’, out.
The sad part is there is not a whole bunch that’s changed since I wrote this in 1998.
Except, of course for gun laws, which keep getting tighter, more restrictive, more unconstitutional and proved with ever greater assurity to be totally useless.
I took some serious heat for my post yesterday, for the fact that the articles about threatened violence against GOP candidates and their supporters were not current.
The point I was trying to make with that post was that things haven’t changed much. If, at all.
To prove that point, here’s an article from the New York Post from day before yesterday.
A Democratic state senator from Illinois came under fire over the weekend after pictures were posted online showing his supporters at a fundraising event performing a mock assassination of a faux President Trump.
“The tolerant left,” wrote a Facebook user in response to the incident.
Ladies and gentlemen, I will say this to you again without any reservation whatsoever. This is the Democrat Party of today. This is who they are.
That fact needs to be widely understood if we are to save what’s left of America.
A very interesting read from my friend, Arthur Chrenkoff…
“The Washington Post” beat me to taking a closer look at the Christchurch, NZ, and El Paso, Texas, terrorist attacks carried out this year by two white supremacists against Muslim and Latino targets respectively, in particular the common thread of the perpetrators’ ecological concerns. Kudos to the WaPo for doing a reasonable work discussing this topic – no doubt a controversial one for their woke readership – though with some qualifications.
Well, yes, that’s a link I’ve noticed in the past but haven’t quite known how to address it.
Arthur here, seems to have done a good job of latching onto it, however:
In this context, it is interesting – though not surprising – that the left has latched onto Christchurch and El Paso terrorists as a cudgel to bash the mainstream right for supposedly enabling today’s fascists and white supremacists with their rhetoric about immigration and multiculturalism.
It is equally not surprising that the left has failed to similarly condemn the extremist environmental rhetoric for contributing to radicalisation and normalisation of this sort of Malthusian violence we have seen in New Zealand and the United States. Apparently, Trump’s tweets directly lead to white supremacist mass shootings, but the misanthropist philosophy of the deep greens is somehow unconnected to the eco-fascism’s obsession with over-population, pollution and resource exhaustion.
It’s always more than a little bit dangerous to try to identify the links in the minds of a madman. That’s one of the reasons why I’ve been reluctant to address the links between these movements and the violence we’re seeing in some of these mass shootings.
But it is educational to observe how various groups react to the documents that these brain damaged individuals leave behind them. As a commenter to Arthur’s article suggests:
The reality is socialism leads to scarcity and people get tribal when times are rough. Fascist/ socialist/ communist Eutopia not achieved will always end up being the fault of outlander saboteurs and will always devolve into the elimination of classes of people. Blame shifts and more people die.
Indeed, Margaret Sanger, Mao, Stalin, and that guy with the funny mustache all seem to have eliminationist tendencies at the heart of their philosophies, don’t they?
