It occurs to me that one way of stopping Disney from playing its abortion games, is to pass a heartbeat bill in Florida.

I mean, do you suppose they’d ever shut down Disney World?
That rumbling sound you’re hearing is Walt Disney spinning in his grave like a top.
Matt Margolis the other day:
A new poll from CNN is bad news for Obama and the Democratic Party. With the Mueller report complete and the Russian collusion narrative collapsed, Americans seem ready to move on.
“The American public increasingly feels that Democrats in Congress are going too far in investigating the President,” CNN reports. “44% say Democrats are doing too much on that score, up from 38% saying so in March. That shift stems largely from independents, 46% of whom now say congressional Democrats are going too far.” And that was before Democrats wasted a whole day moaning and groaning about Attorney General William Barr’s memo about the Mueller report, which Robert Mueller told Barr was accurate.
But the most interesting part of the is that “69% think Congress ought to investigate the origins of the Justice Department’s inquiry into Russian interference in the 2016 election, including 76% of Democrats, 69% of independents and 62% of Republicans.” In other words, an overwhelming majority of Americans believe that the Obama Justice Department’s actions in 2016 should be investigated.
That’s interesting on its face, and encouraging as well. It’s obvious that the American voting public feels that the Democrats have already overstepped their boundaries.

For so they have, and frankly it appears as though the vast majority of Americans want to see repercussions against those who have started this scam. Obama, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Peter Strzok and his erstwhile lover, John Brennan and so on.
However, it goes farther than that. Perhaps the most important short-term point to be made here, is that continuing down the road the Democrats seem hell-bent on, is not going to do them any favors at the voting booth.
For that matter, it’s not going to do any favors at the voting booth for the never- Trump crowd like Justin Amash, either.
I have reason to believe that there is not a blessed one of them that’s smart enough to take the hint.
Remember I mentioned George McGovern yesterday? This poll data meshes precisely with those predictions.

I am not of fan of Fearless Leader b/k/a Robert Mueller, III, It was Russia’s aim to disrupt our elections in 2016, and beyond. It was Fearless Leader’s assignment to investigate Russian interference. Yet despite an counterintelligence operation using fictional material bought and paid for my Mrs. Clinton’s election campaign, Fearless Leader found none. A peak at Fearless Leader’s less than distinguished career, from Clarice Feldman, American Thinker:
He kept four innocent men in jail for years (one for 35 years) to protect the vicious criminal Whitey Bulger, who had at times been an FBI informant.
[…]
He bungled the anthrax case (along with James Comey) so that one man — whom it is far from certain was responsible — killed himself and a clearly innocent man, Steven Hatfill, underwent incredible harassment and career destruction based on the flimsiest of evidence and the government (that is the taxpayers) again was forced to pay him millions in recompense.
Under his watch at the FBI, that agency and the Department of Justice’s criminal division framed Senator Ted Stevens and failed to stop the Boston bombing even though the Russians had warned them of the perpetrators in advance.
From Daniel John Sobieski, American Thinker:
By refusing to go after the real colluders with Russia who committed real crimes, it is Robert Mueller who was obstructing justice.
So rather than prosecute the Russian collaborators, Fearless Leader aided and abetted them.
The Democrat Party has given into this sorry leftism before. And they got their backsides handed them..
1972. It’s pretty hard to look at that piece of history and not understand that this is precisely the level of defeat that the Democrats are headed for in 2020.
Consider the spectacle of the 1972 cycle.. Interestingly, the Democrat Party had 15 candidates for consideration for the Democrat party nomination. They have even more in this cycle, of course.

George McGovern
It is little remembered at this point but in that 72 cycle, George McGovern had as a prominent part of his platform a guaranteed minimum income. Along, of course, with the rest of the touchstones of the far left today. the far left of the party was running things back in those days as well, and McGovern ended up winning the nomination.
The result in the general, was a laughable 17 electoral votes of the available 538, (one delegate in Virginia went for a third party candidate that nobody even knew) with 37.5% of the popular vote and only one state … the leftist enclave of Massachusetts… carried.
So what have we got today amongst the Democrats? You have Joe Biden and his touchy-feely politics, plus 20 other candidates (give or take) that are so far to the left, both individually and collectively that they make Joe Biden look like Gerry Ford, by comparison. It’s as I’ve said elsewhere, the tragedy here is not the perception that Biden is the Democrat Party’s best candidate, but that the perception is an accurate one.
It’s as I’ve said elsewhere nobody that makes it through this primary on the Democrats side is going to be accepted by the General electorate.
Now, let’s add to this the results of the IG report which is due out shortly, stand the constant drumbeat of additional information about Democrat Party corruption which amounts to what is most likely the largest scandal ever to hit these United States… and the only logical conclusion that one can draw is that the Democrats are facing a blowout so large that will make the McGovern loss in 72 seem like a victory by comparison.

Chicken Little needs to work on his sales technique:
It’s true that 2019 has seen a spike in tornadoes, but mostly because 2018 was the first year recorded without a single violent tornado in the United States. Tornadoes killed 10 Americans in 2018, the fewest since we started keeping track of these things in 1875, only four years after the nefarious combustion engine was invented

I’ve seen several reports this morning of a purge going on in North Korea involving the diplomats who are involved with the failed Kim/Trump summit.
While the American Press is quite willing to lay these executions at the feet of Donald Trump, I’m not so certain.
For example, the BBC…. (hardly a collection of right-wing thinkers there):
But there is a reason we treat reports about North Korean officials being executed with extreme caution. The claims are incredibly difficult to verify and they are very often wrong.
Both the South Korean media and the government in Seoul have reported on purges in the past – only for the “executed” officials to turn up a few weeks later looking alive and well next to the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
On this occasion, a single anonymous source has told a newspaper in Seoul that Kim Hyok-chol, the former North Korean envoy to the US and a key figure in talks ahead of the summit between Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump in Hanoi, was executed at an airport in Pyongyang.
According to reports I’m seeing in the European Press today, one of the people executed was the senior representative to Spain, as well as being part of the summit between Kim and Donald Trump.
That’s important, given the small matter of a break-in at the Korean embassy in Madrid, for which the Spanish are saying there is every indication it was an inside job.

The little gargoyle
Certainly, executions are fairly standard fare for any socialist regime. and Kim and his predecessors have done this in the past with some degree of regularity.
So, it seems a little premature and probably out of bounds to claim that this had anything to do with Donald Trump.
If there is a bright spot in all of this, it is that so little gargoyle believes … and I think correctly …that revolution from inside the country… Meaning the ousting of Kim… is still a possibility.
Bloomburg, the other day:
Beijing is gearing up to use its dominance of rare earths to hit back in its deepening trade war with Washington.
The threat to weaponize strategic materials ratchets up the tension between the world’s two biggest economies before an expected meeting between Presidents Xi Jinping and Donald Trump at the G-20 meeting next month. It shows how China is weighing its options after the U.S. blacklisted Huawei Technologies Co., cutting off the supply of American components it needs to make its smartphones and networking gear.
Actually, I wouldn’t worry overmuch. China just made a fool out of itself, even if some “mainstream” leftist media isn’t covering it.
The Verge
Last week, many publications covered the news that a Japanese team of scientists had found a huge trove of rare earth elements off the coast of the country’s Minamitori Island. Some 16 million tons were estimated to be lurking in the deep-sea mud, enough to meet global demand on a “semi-infinite basis,” said the researchers.
This news was presented as having great geopolitical significance. China currently produces more than 90 percent of the world’s supply of rare earth materials (the exact figure tends to fluctuate year-by-year), and in the event of a conflict, said reports, it could jack up prices for the West and its allies, or even shut them out altogether. In this eventuality, the Minamitori hoard would be a lifeline. “It is important to secure our own source of resources, given how China controls the prices,” Professor Yutaro Takaya Waseda, who led the Japanese research team, told The Wall Street Journal.

Now, the president just got back from a trip to where? Oh, yeah. Japan.
Clarence Thomas invokes the “You Broke It, You Own It” rule. Abortion kills living human beings. An open license to murder can destroy our society. As the Supreme Court created that right of abortion out of whole cloth, they have denied the several states the power regulate abortion, from [edit]:
On Tuesday, the Court declined to weigh in on a lower court decision that blocked a certain provision of an Indiana abortion law. The provision in question banned abortions based on race, sex or disability.
Thomas, for his part, wrote in a 20-page concurrence that while the Court was right not to review that part of the law, the issues at hand must eventually be heard.
“Although the Court declines to wade into these issues today, we cannot avoid them forever. Having created the constitutional right to an abortion, this Court is duty bound to address its scope,” Thomas wrote.
“Given the potential for abortion to become a tool of eugenic manipulation, the Court will soon need to confront the constitutionality of laws like Indiana’s,” he added.
The Supreme Court’s ownership of abortion is an open endorsement of eugenics. When will the court stop it?
Also:
Ginsburg also wrote in the footnotes of her partial dissent that “a woman who exercises her constitutionally protected right to terminate a pregnancy is not a ‘mother.’”
On what planet does Associate Justice Ginsberg believes she lives?
Roger Simon at PJM:
Robert Mueller’s eight- to nine-minute statement Wednesday morning at the DOJ was designed for one thing only: to avoid having to answer one key question in his testimony. When did you know there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia?
If the answer, as many, including Andrew C. McCarthy, are indicating, is somewhere in Fall 2017, what in the Sam Hill was Mueller doing putting the country through two years of prolonged agony? It’s not likely he did all this to prop up CNN’s faltering ratings.
Was it, just by chance, to induce obstruction from one Donald J. Trump who — like a relatively normal person but with a shorter fuse than most, justifiable in this case — would react like a stuck pig to being falsely charged for so long? That would have been essentially entrapment.
Further, Mueller’s hiding behind the canard that he could not charge a sitting president on obstruction makes a mockery of his initial assertion that there was no collusion. Most of us can’t have it both ways. But I guess Mueller can. Or has. I leave it to Jerrold Nadler to explain that to us.
Another key indication of where this is going is that Nadler is not screaming fire and brimstone, as he has in the past when thwarted about getting what he wants.
I am forced to conclude that the Democrats have, reluctantly ascertained that having Mueller testify before Congress in open session is it going to be counterproductive to their aims.
Slow Joe Biden promised to quit molesting young girls, at least in public. I don’t think Slow Joe can control his hands, from Daily Wire:
Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden stirred ire on social media on Tuesday after he touched a young girl at a campaign rally despite pledging last month to be “much more mindful” about not invading people’s personal space without their permission.
The New York Times reported that the interaction between Biden and the 10-year-old girl happened after she asked him a question about political division in the country.
“She told him that her favorite subject was journalism, so Mr. Biden proceeded to bring her to the back of the room, where journalists and TV cameras were congregated, and put his hands on her shoulders,” the Times added. “The moment raised some eyebrows among online commentators. In the weeks leading up to his entrance into the race, a number of women said Mr. Biden had made them uncomfortable by touching them, leading to a reckoning around the physical way he has often interacted with women in public.”
Tell Joe that one molester in the White House, B.J. Clinton, was one too many. To Slow Joe friends, associates or employees, this man needs help. Get him the mental health intervention is so disparately needs. Do it now, before Slow Molests yet another child.
Interesting article in RealClearPolitics this morning. RCP is not known for being a right-wing site, certainly, but the left is certainly going to be rankled by this one:
Over the next few months, the public will finally see what kind of malfeasance there was. At least they will see some of it. Some will remain classified to protect sources and methods; some will be released only after criminal charges are filed. The initial evidence will come from two sources: a major report by DoJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, and the steady declassification of underlying documents by AG Barr, who was given that task by the president. Barr needed that authority because the FBI and intelligence community are resisting disclosure with all their institutional power. They fear years of abuse will be exposed.

The pro Trump trends that we’ve been seeing will be reinforced once these facts come out.
It’s a little difficult to elect Democrats when the American voter is being treated to the spectacle of high-ranking Democrats from the previous administration being frog marched off to the vertical bar hotel… An event which seems likely at this point.
And the thing is, this isn’t anything new for the Democrats. I pointed out two things, one of which I pointed out many times in these spaces… Every single Republican president since Eisenhower has suffered under an impeachment attempt by the Democrats.
And secondly, note this classic headline…

Denish D’Souza…. Sit down this will take about 45 minutes. I promise you it’s worth your time.

On one side we have J. Edgar Hoover and on the other Dr. Martin Luther King. The supposed protector of our nation’s rights wages an illegal war on our nations icon of civil rights, from Daily Mail(UK):
Secret FBI tapes that accuse Martin Luther King Jr of having extramarital affairs with ’40 to 45 women’ and even claim he ‘looked on and laughed’ as a pastor friend raped a parishioner exist, an author has claimed.
The civil rights hero was also heard allegedly joking he was the founder of the ‘International Association for the Advancement of P***y-Eaters’ on an agency recording that was obtained by bugging his room, according to the sensational claims made by biographer David Garrow – a Pulitzer prize-winning author and biographer of MLK.
Writing in British magazine Standpoint, Garrow says that the shocking files could lead to a ‘painful historical reckoning’ for the man who is celebrated across the world for his campaign against racial injustice.
Along with many US civil rights figures, King was subject to an FBI campaign of surveillance ordered by Director J Edgar Hoover in an effort to undermine his power amid fears he could have links to the Communist Party.
King was far from a saint. Hoover an unindited criminal. How about we take Hoover’s name off the FBI building and tear down King’s statue on the mall?
