Yeah, it’s that stupid:
President Joe Biden will grade the U.S. military and all other government agencies on their “efforts to advance environmental justice” through a new scorecard that tracks their work to fight climate change and deliver “environmental and health benefits to disadvantaged communities.”
Biden on Friday morning announced the U.S. government’s “first-ever Environmental Justice Scorecard,” a “new government-wide assessment of federal agencies’ efforts to advance environmental justice.” Included in the project is the Department of Defense, which Biden will grade on its work to address “environmental, climate-related, and cumulative impacts on communities with environmental justice concerns.”
Comforting to know that while China is building the largest Military in the world, that this moron has OUR military spending it’s time and our money chasing environmental statistical ghosts, color, and making sure that sexual dysphoria is treated as normal. The depth of this problem isn’t lost on all of us:
For Florida Republican congressman Mike Waltz, Biden has gone “way too far” in applying the administration’s climate initiatives to the military.
“While it’s essential we ensure our military bases are resilient, the Biden administration is again taking things way too far,” Waltz told the Washington Free Beacon. “Our country faces more threats than ever before and now our military will be forced to take their focus off lethality to ensure they make some sort of environmental justice scorecard? It’s absurd.”
Indeed it is. And frankly, the “Big Guy” is only a very small part of the problem, if, like most Americans, you’ve noticed the guy hasn’t the active brain cells to pull off stuff like this on his own. Which of course leaves us the daunting question of whom it is that is pushing this nonsense. Maybe the money from China to the Biden Family is a clue, huh?
I’ve not been writing much of late.
Frankly, part of the reason is that we have become such a target rich environment, that it’s difficult to pick a subject to write to. But we’ll do better.
By the way, we’re looking at updating the theme that BitsBlog has run on for a little over a decade, now. More about that as there’s time.
My eternal thanks for my Iowa Buddy, Art Smith for his time and efforts in keeping the place running.

Challenged by Clayton over Twitter no longer flagging up so- called Covid “misinformation” (aka, things posted by lockdown sceptics like me which usually turned out to be true), Elon inquired mischievously:
“Does the BBC hold itself at all responsible for misinformation
regarding masking and side-effects of vaccinations and not reporting on
that at all?”You could cut the silence with a knife.
“And what about the fact that the BBC was put under pressure by the
British government to change the editorial policy, are you aware of
that?” Musk taunted.“This is not an interview about the BBC,” spluttered Clayton.
We’ve discussed the misinformation coming out of the government with regards to covid-19 before, and it’s rather obvious that the number of things the government got wrong and still refused to admit that they’ve gotten wrong, isn’t helping the state of health care in this country or in the world for that matter.
And as an aside, Musk got this one absolutely correctly.
But now, let’s turn the page to a different subject… The Biden administration’s insistence on electric vehicles.
“The Biden administration should let the market decide. Clearly, there is a demand for electric vehicles. But by insisting on the rate at which the industry needs to make the transition, the administration’s incentives could be undermining progress. Axios noted this week that ‘battery technology is still evolving…meaning the U.S. may be at risk of building mines and factories to produce batteries that wind up being obsolete in a decade.’ As Reason‘s Ronald Bailey wrote in the March 2023 issue, electrochemists are already devising new methods of powering electric cars that don’t use scarce materials. By imposing such a breakneck timeline, the EPA is forcing automakers to choose production over innovation.”
Already, you’re going to tell me that this little commentary is slightly disjointed and I suppose that you’d be quite correct… it is.

However that may be, let’s look at the commonality between the two subjects: the government mandates.
In both cases and frankly in almost all cases, government forcing themselves into situations where they don’t not belong such as the two above is not helpful. In fact, more often than not it’s hurtful. As Ronald Reagan used to say, government isn’t the solution, government is the problem.
No wonder the left has been trying to shut down the parody site The Babylon Bee… They’re accuracy rate has been blowing the supposed mainstream media out of the water for a couple of years now. Case in point:
In a match made in heaven, a beverage that tries to pass itself as beer has hired as its spokesperson a man trying to pass himself off as a woman. “For decades, we’ve been putting carbonated backwash in a beer can and pretending it’s beer,” said Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth. “Who better to represent our brand than a guy throwing on a dress and pretending he’s a woman?”
As I’ve been saying for many years, comedy doesn’t work unless there is a grain of Truth at the center of it. God bless The Babylon Bee for recognizing that truth and running with it.
That brown stuff on the floor is getting deeper…
For what they say is the first time, British researchers report that they have found the spread of COVID-19 in households is linked to the presence of the virus on hands and surfaces, not just in the air.
Remember, we have spent the last 2 years being told the virus didn’t get transmitted that way. Now suddenly that gets turned around as well.
More confirmation that they’re making this stuff up as they go along.

First of al, understand that tolerating everything is the easiest thing in the world to do. Consider a branch floating down a river. It extends no effort in its travels to get where it’s going. It makes no choices. It simply follows the current that it’s exposed to.
When we tolerate everything, we risk becoming indifferent to the issues and values that matter most to us. Many who pride themselves on being tolerant of everything, become so afraid of offending others or being seen as intolerant that they fail to take a stand when it is necessary. This can result in a lack of clarity and direction in our lives, leaving us feeling aimless and unfulfilled.
Furthermore, if we tolerate everything, we become complicit in actions or behaviors that go against our core values.
In contrast, unlike that Branch floating down the river, standing for something requires making choices and taking a stand, even if it means disagreeing with others or facing opposition. It requires a willingness to defend our beliefs and values, even in the face of adversity. By standing for something, we create a sense of purpose and direction in our lives, and we become more resilient in the face of challenges.
In short, while tolerance is an important value, it should not be taken to an extreme. Standing for something requires making choices and taking a stand, and it is through these actions that we can create a sense of purpose and direction in our lives, and the lives of those around us. It is people that stand for something that both create and reinforce our all important culture.
That we have failed to reinforce our cultural values is simple enough to confirm. All one has to do is read the headlines these last couple of years.
I suggest it’s time for us to get back to standing up for American values.
Personally I’m quite glad to see this happening.
UPDATE: North Carolina residents can now buy a handgun without getting a permit from a local sheriff, after the Republican-controlled legislature on Wednesday overrode the Democratic governor’s veto — a first since 2018.
But you know, I must needs Wonder, will the gun grabbing left label this as democracy in action? Somehow, given the Insurrection going on in the Tennessee Capital just now, I tend to doubt it.
Well, what do you know? Another Democrat double standard. Megan Fox has this one exactly correct:
Police officers are getting plowed over right now by mobs of screaming protesters at the Tennessee capitol. It’s absolute chaos there as anti-gun nuts have broken into the chamber and shut down the People’s business, chanting something about justice and guns. They pushed through a line of state troopers to access the chamber. Oddly, it doesn’t look like anyone is getting arrested, pepper sprayed, tuned up with billy clubs, or hauled off to prison on charges of “sedition.”

Kind of funny how that works, isn’t it? Personally I’m calling for the Tennessee lower house to do a full and thorough investigation of these matters, and issue arrest warrants.
So, after saying that all charges were dropped, it turns out that the Democrat was lying.
And in other news either the sun will be going down tonight or the horizon will be moving up.
Just remember a couple of key elements here. Stormy Daniels signing off on a deposition that the encounter never happened. Her lawyer, once a Democrat darling until he came out with the idea that there wasn’t a case at which point he suddenly became a pariah amongst Democrats, saying that Bragg didn’t have a case.
This one’s going nowhere, folks… And will help Mr Trump, not hurt him.
It’s clear that the Feds incited the violence (Ray Epps anyone?) and had help from the police. Pelosi failed to secure the Capitol.
#freej6prisoners
The ones in jail over January 6th are not the people that should be in jail. The results of any investigation into these situations means that the entire January 6th committee should be jailed along with the pelosi team the Schumer team the Biden campaign certain members of the doj, the FBI, the CIA and so on. Indeed the people that need to be in jail are the ones responsible for jailing these political prisoners whoever they are.
The mainstream press and trans-activists are trying to pin the targeted shooting deaths of 6 people, including three nine-year-old children, on Christians, while simultaneously rehabilitating the shooter, a trans man. Fair…?
Well, let’s remember that antifa, the enforcement arm of the Democratic party is involved.

First of all, I don’t remember any stories about groups of transsexuals being killed off. But even with that said, there is a pattern here that we need to take note of.

The trend is that in each of these cases the gun got blamed, not the mental instability of the shooter. You see I’m old enough to remember when this sort of thing was classified as a mental illness, and was treated as such by government.
The massive double standards being applied to these cases by the left is in a clinical sense, fascinating to watch. The number of logical knots that they can tie themselves into is tragically amazing.
I mean, it’s not like the rest of us can’t see it for what it is. We all notice that the gun grabbers are ignoring these points in their headlong goal to disarm American citizens.
And yet there are still people who wonder why the Babylon Bee has higher accuracy rate than CNN.
Addendum:
Clark Steele:
When Dylann Roof casually slaughtered 9 innocent black parishioners in South Carolina the media immediately labeled him a “Neo-NAZI” and a White Supremacist, which seems an accurate description of the monster.
Yet, when a Militant Trans Audrey Hale plans and executes the murder of white Christians, including children, at a Christian school the Media’s and Democrat’s concerns are for the “Trans” community not the actual hate crime victims.
Indeed.
I’ll pass this along because you know as well as I that the mainstream media isn’t going to cover this one.
One example, how in the world could he stand up in front of the American people (January before last) and say that the Republicans have been limiting people’s opportunities to vote, (falsely of course) and then out of the other side of his mouth tell us that he won 38 states with a record number of votes..(again falsely)… All of which ignores the question of how one goes from a record number of votes to a lower approval rating than chlamydia.
The question is, whose plan is it? It certainly isn’t Uncle Creepy. The man doesn’t have enough brain power to put together a cohesive sentence , much less a plan so involved and so destructive.
At that point it becomes a question of who benefits from the plan. Clearly, it’s not America.
The Chinese however, benefit greatly, and the Chinese have gone well out of their way to make sure that “the big guy” is financially accommodated for all his good work for them, if what we are seeing out of the Congressional investigations is anything like accurate, and I have no reason to doubt them.
And before you start calling this a conspiracy theory this is all backed up with known fact. Remember also that the last 10 years or so has taught us the most important lesson. That being, the difference between conspiracy theory and a newly discovered truth is about a month and a half..
