Speaking of Dan Rather, here’s the latest nonsense from Bill O’Reilly
personally I’ve never liked O’Reilly. I worked with too many people like him in the broadcast business, not to recognize a bullshit artist when I see one. O’Reilly is certainly that. Best I can see, he often simply talks to hear his own voice. I had occasion to fire his like during my broadcast years.
Says he:
As a CBS News correspondent in the early ’80s, I worked with Rather and have known him for more than 20 years. Listen to me: There is no way on this Earth that he would have knowingly used fake documents on any story.
OK, Bill… now you listen to me. There;s no way he didn’t do that… and not just in this case, but repeatedly over the years. The guy leans so far left he makes Stalin look like Bill Buckley, and his politics have for years been the subject of discussion. His misdeeds over the years, along with his fellows on other networks who took heir cues from him and his socialist predecessor, Cronkite, in pursuit of that left-leaning, is the reason the network you’re on, Fox, is doing as well as it is today.
O’Reilly is often right, and gets praise from me when he is so, but he is as often wrong, and I’ve had occasion to bite him a new one, once in a while, too.
But this one, gang, is well beyond the pale. Fox needs to think seriously of dumping this moron before they lose the time block he’s in.
Note to Roger: Drop the axe on this idiot before it’s too late!
