Yes, I saw the bit with Tom Ridge annoucning his quitting his post.
Thing was, if you were watching, this was no shock, given we knew this was coming 6 months ago. So, I didn’t bother adding any of my own drool over the event; it wasn’t breaking news, gang… we knew it was happening.
What’s curious to me is how many news ‘services’, including Fox, treated this like it was some sort of big shock.
I’m sorry to see Ridge go, but there’s nothing overtly political about this move, nor was it unexpected.
