Mexcan President Felipe Calderon declared that the United States of America does not exist as sovereign nation, and has not right to control her own borders.   Traci Carl, Associated Press:

“Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico.”

Taking Calderon at his word, means that each  Mexican immigrant is not a civilian intruder but an enemy invader.   By Calderon’s logic, we should not only stop illegal immigration from Mexico, but all legal immigration as well.  For only way to negate Calderon’s claim on the United States, is to remove all Mexican nationals from our soil.

Calderon says that their can not be both a United States with Mexicans and a United States.  Sobeit.

Addendum:   Allah Pundit, Hot Air, cites the same paper, WaPo, but a different reporter and slightly different quote,  Manuel Roig-Franzia, Washington Post Foreign Service

Wherever there is a Mexican,” he said, “that is Mexico.”

Calderon message is clear.  There is no United States, only Mexico.

  1. I seem to recall Hitler taking a similar stance.

  2. And I had thought that Hilter analogies were reserved for Bush.

  3. Yes, well, notice, please, that the msm didn’t make that linkage.
    A blogger did.
