In response to Dan Rather’s lawsuit filed against the CBS responded, in effect, that Rather was insane. CBS termed the lawsuit bizarre.
So question for CBS, at what point in Rather’s forty year association with your network did come to believe that Rather was insane?

My guess is, at the time they hired him it was a condition of employment.
