kim_jong_ilNork.net is down.  Who knew the Norks had a working internet?  From Amy Miller, Legal Insurrection:

Could it be that the United States has finally hit back against North Korea’s cyberaggression?

All 1,024 of North Korea’s Internet protocol addresses have gone dark, and internet monitors are calling the outage one of the worst network failures in years.

Aside from the possible loss of Kim Jon-dung’s child porn connection, I don’t see how this effects the Norks at all. Taking down Nork.net would be almost as pointless as taking out the Amish internet.

If this was a deliberate act of sabotage on the part of the United States, it is perfect, a man made act indistinguishable from natural causes. On the other hand, if this were meant to intimidate the Norks, it was pointless for the same reason.
