With a hat tip to Billy Beck, comes a link to qz:

“For better or worse, some of the most defining, shocking, gruesome, and touching moments of Hong Kong’s protests will be watched, scrutinized, and relived over and over again. The reason: the ubiquitous and unceasing live-streaming of events as they play out on the ground, beamed to tens of thousands of watchers in real time, then archived to be replayed in perpetuity.”

My good friend Art Smith passed along Michael Yons address a couple of days ago and so I have been keeping track of what’s been going on over there.

Here’s Yon’s live FB feed where is is monitoring this plus a number of other sources

It does seem to me that the object lesson here is that this is the result of socialism, all of it… And I wonder if the Democrats just now aren’t reaping the benefits of their anti Trump Hysteria… At the very least, it’s distracting the Democrat Party base from drawing that conclusion, and learning that lesson about socialism and its results.

Remember, I’ve already suggested that the actions of the Democrats here in the states and the Chinese Communists are directly linked.

Xi has two choices in front of him, neither one of which he’s going to like. You can either go all Gorbachev on the situation or all Pol Pot… And if he tries to go in the middle, the rest of the world is going to label him another Pol Pot anyway, so for him there’s no splitting the difference.

It’s down now to which way he’s going to go.
