Is anybody really surprised by this?

Hiring disappointed again in May as companies across the country struggle to find enough help to satisfy booming demand, even as they raise wages and offer sign-on bonuses.

That’s the main takeaway of the May employment report released Friday morning by the Labor Department. Nonfarm payrolls grew by 559,000—not an insignificant gain, but short of the 650,000 increase economists surveyed by FactSet predicted.

The lame stream media can claim all they want the economy’s on its way back, but the fact of the matter is it fell short of expectations once again and only opened up as far as it did because the government is finally taking its covid-19 boot off of our throats… And consider the idea that what progress has been made on jobs is being made despite the government paying people to stay home.
