I’ve been watching this one, and I haven’t said anything about it because it was so fantastic that I firmly believed that the news media had totally screwed this one up… That we weren’t getting the whole story.
As it is now, I can only shake my head and wonder if the woman is capable of understanding the lesson in the nature of reality she’s about to receive.
A spectator at the Tour de France who caused a massive crash involving dozens of cyclists is missing as race authorities plan to sue her.
Tour de France deputy director Pierre-Yves Thouault told the AFP news agency they plan to sue the woman “so that the tiny minority of people who do this don’t spoil the show for everyone. ”
However, French publication Ouest-France reported the woman, who is believed to be German, got on a flight and is untraceable, according to CBS Sports.
Billy Beck called the woman a weapons great dingbat, which is a phrase I wish I had thought of.
That she slipped out of the country as easily as she did makes me wonder if she didn’t have some organized help in doing so.
