Well, so says the New York Times anyway…
President Biden called on Tuesday for the resignation of Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo of New York after the state’s attorney general found that Mr. Cuomo, a third-term Democrat, had sexually harassed multiple women.
First of all, the prospect of Uncle Creepy calling for anyone’s resignation over sexual harassment charges has got to be the political irony of the year. It’s also our first indication that something is amiss here, that this is both more and less than the Democrats would have us believe.
I mean, let’s be straight up about this. If the Democrats gave a damn about sexual harassment, Joe Biden would definitely not have been their choice for president under any circumstances whatsoever. He certainly wouldn’t have been dragged through the primary by whatever means the Democrats managed to put together.
It must be pointed out that in the comparison between the crimes of Cuomo and Biden, the women that Andrew Cuomo supposedly harassed were at least of legal age…
And in the case of Cuomo, there is a lack of photographic evidence. The guy’s an idiot, but he’s that smart anyway. With Biden there was copious photographic evidence, that we have all seen.
In short, on that comparison alone, the Democrats have a serious credibility issue on their hands.
Thing is, there’s far more than this.
Long time readers of this website will remember that I have repeatedly made reference to the fact that Democrats frequently use sexual harassment charges to eliminate problematic people from the political scene. Generally speaking, they are reluctant to use such weaponry against individuals who are large within the party or within whatever movement the Democrats are currently attaching themselves to.
But, you will recall Gary Hart, Jim Trafficant, and Bill Cosby to name a few.
Then again, there is the large number of Republicans they’ve tried it with. Justice Thomas, Justice Cavanaugh, Donald Trump… Laughably they even tried it with Mike Pence. (Talk about your jump the shark moment!)
And yes there is also the practice of simply eliminating people who become inconvenient to the cause. Does the name Epstein ring any bells? Vince Foster? (And how about those six, yes, count them, six DC police officers who were involved in the supposed riot in the Capitol building on the 6th of January? Six of them have now committed suicide, and that seems to stretch credulity just a little… (Update, there seems to be a little bit of a conflict here. Four seems to be the accepted number and I’m looking into why there’s a variance.) I guess they won’t be testifying in Nancy Pelosi’s little soiree…but I’ll get to that in the next article.)
Is Andrew Cuomo a sexual harasser? I’ll come right out and say it.. I have no doubt in my mind that he is….but that has nothing whatsoever to do with the target that now seems to be installed on Cuomo’s back.
Given the history of when Democrats bring these charges, one must needs wonder what else is going on here. Taking Democrats at face value is always a questionable proposition, after all. What is really going on here?
Cuomo has made no secret of his presidential ambitions, so is it Cuomo presidency not exactly in the plans of the powers that be within the Democrat party or within the Chinese Communist party?
If he succeeded in making it through the primary process to the general election, it’s a subject that most certainly would have come up, (the Republicans would have to be even bigger fools than I take them before if they didn’t bring it up…) to the effect of defeating any attempt at the White House by Cuomo. Not exactly conducive to Democrat party plans for permanent power
Could this be a method of getting Cuomo out of the way, as regards the number of nursing home deaths caused by policies initiated by Cuomo? Certainly, if the matter ever went to trial it would be damaging to the Democrats regardless of how the trial itself came out. And in such a trial other names will be certainly dragged in.
And isn’t it odd how quickly this report came out after Joe Biden’s DOJ made public that they weren’t going to prosecute Cuomo for those nursing home deaths? In short, disappear, Fredo, and you won’t go to jail.
It’s my thought that that’s where all this is going. Andrew Cuomo behind bars? Certainly deserved, but with politics in Washington being what they are it’ll never happen.
No he’ll be quietly pushed out of office on what the Democrats would have otherwise considered a bimbo eruption, never to be heard from in political circles again.
