It’s interesting, watching the cannibalism that seems to be breaking out on the left.
What caused all this feasting? AOC dared to come out supporting Joe Biden. Far be it from me to defend the woman who single-handedly ended the blonde joke, but still truth is truth.
The Daily Mail notes the reaction:
Briahna Joy Gray, a former senior staffer to Senator Bernie Sanders wrote:’Endorsing Joe Biden now is a betrayal of progressive interests. It was true of Bernie Sanders’ endorsement & its true of AOC.’
Okay, hold it right there. She’s saying that Bernie Sanders wasn’t leftist enough? One really most wonder if there is any candidate who would satisfy this woman, and what the criteria for that satisfaction would be… But she goes on from there;
‘*Most* Democrats don’t want Biden to run. Bernie and AOC are tragically out of step w/ the movement & the moment.’
Same question.
I mean, more than granted that Biden and his policies have been nothing short of a complete disaster.
In fact in the same article, the Daily Mail reports:
An April poll revealed that 51 percent of Democrats do not want to see Biden run again in 2024, and 70 percent of Americans overall don’t want to see the 80-year-old seek reelection.
Thing is, there does seem to be a weakness, a delicious illogic driving these people, who inexplicably believe that these issues are being caused by Biden not being leftist enough. The result is pure comedy gold:
One account with a series of progressive hashtags in its bio wrote: AOC endorsing Biden is exactly wat I saw coming. Nothing about this is surprising. ‘She’s a con & a fraud who lied her way to DC. It’s a shame that so called “Leftists” still support this tool. Anyone “Leftist” still supporting anyone in the Dem party is deeply unserious.’
What these creatures do not understand, and probably never will, is that the disaster ride by Joe Biden and his people are not due to his being out of step with the movement of the left but rather the disaster is the direct result of the perfect implementation of the laundry list of leftism.
