The Gap Between the GOP Rank And File And the GOP Establishment

Much has been made of the shooters being a registered republican. Much has also been made of his donating to Democrat pols.Apparently some people can’t figure this one out. The answer, however, is rather easy, when you recall that Liz Cheney was was also a registered Republican until such time as the voters put an end to her activities, which shared the same goal as the shooter.

Here once again we see the difference … The very thick line… between the GOP establishment
(the Cheney, mitt Romney, John McCain wing of the party) and the GOP rank and file.

Our rooftop shooter, if what we know of him is anything like accurate, was obviously a supporter of the Republican establishment. And there’s the key to understanding all of this.

We can put more of a framework around this when we recall that the GOP establishment back in the day wasn’t too happy about Ronald Reagan,either.
