DEMS CLAIM NASA LEAKED PHOTOS TO SMEAR

Ponder this situation:
So, your candidate looks goofy, both in the sense of looking strange and looking LIKE Goofy. And that’s just his face.

And then, someone takes a picture of your guy… in an election year, no less. Who running for office, can turn down a photo-op in an election year? Geeee.

OK, so he looks like he’s having work done at the neighborhood amateur protologist, who happened to be taking Teresa’s advise of the other night to that reporter.

Worse yet, look at the smile on the guy! Aside from the length of it, I mean. He looks for all the world like he LIKES that kind of thing.  (Do we really wanna know what that hose is for? Nooooooo.)

Jay Leno, call your office.

What do you do? How do the high-priced election types react? Do you giggle and move on, suggesting your guy actually posesses something rare in the Democrat circles of late… a sense of HUMOR? Gosh no. You do what any good Democrat would do; You panic and blame someone else. Bringing back visions of Dukakis in the tank, you dance and scream “Foul”, claiming “Nasa leaked the photos to smear Kerry!!!!!”.

PS: I’ve got a news flash for Kerry’s people… he doesn’t need help looking goofy, OK? And this picture doesn’t mean squat in terms of losing polling numbers… he was doing that already. Trust me; when they ask how George W. Bush won a second term, the first answer will decidedly NOT be… “Nobody managed to get any goofy pictures of him”

But your reaction, here, is typical Democrat…. and on that one factor, you’ll lose even more votes than the votes you’d have lost for your candidate simply being himself and laughing about it.  And that loss is richly deserved.

The Left likes to talk about how paranoid Nixon was, but these days Nixon almost seems like Pollyanna compared to the Democrats. According to Mary Beth Cahill, John Kerry is so stupid that he doesn’t realize that when someone points a camera at him and asks him to smile, he doesn’t know they’re taking a photograph, even when the flash goes off, and even when he’s asked to pose with three other NASA employees. Is that what Cahill wants us to believe?

In case you can’t see this, it’s a shirt sold by “Planned Parenthood”, and it says “I had an abortion”.

I suppose there’s nothing to the idea that the shirt is blood red, huh?

PP has always claimed to be pro choice. That’s not the truth-They’re pro-Abortion. 

And in spite of his attempts at spin, so is John Kerry.

In trying to explain this stunt, PP claimed “We’re trying to open a dialouge”, and said “Abortions are legal and common”

Remember when the Democrats said the goal was abortion that was legal and rare? Looks like the goalposts done got moved, huh?

James Harding at the Financial Times reports:

“John Kerry’s election team is to suspend advertising during August, opening itself to what it expects will be a barrage of attacks from the Bush-Cheney campaign.

After a debate with his senior advisers, Mr Kerry has opted to ‘go dark’ in the weeks after the Democratic National Convention to conserve limited federal funds for the weeks immediately before the November 2 election.”

Only one problem with that plan…. Kerry’s numbers are already falling.

With that hosting choice made however, I’m starting to understand that I need t make a choice about blogging software, as well. I’m well pleased, so far with Blogger, but I do know a number of points where blogger falls short.

One such area is backtracking. I’m using HaloScan just now. It’s certainly better than nothing, and about the best you could expect for something that is so external to Blogger software as to not even be a plug-in. But it’s such a pain to manually backtrack ping, which with the Blogger/Haloscan combo is your only option… no fault, I think, to them. Perhaps I’m not implimenting it correctly, I dunno.

But I would hope that any blogging software… MT, WP, etc… would have some automation for the backtracking process. Do any of my readers have any input here?
(I know from reading my hitsheets a lot of you are bloggers, yourselves..)

Even after weeks of hype, and millions upon millions of dollars spent, hours of “news”casts shamelesly plugging the event, the Democrats can’t attract any followers. Drudge is currently running a slug which says:

This, my freinds, is emblematic of the Democrats of today.

Frankly, I was happy to see I was not on the invite list to the RNC. (Yeah, right)

Seriously… I was very happy to see that Captain’s Quarters, Slant Point, WhizBang,and A Small Victory are all going. Congrats to all of them. I’d have had to get a babysitter, anyway….

Apparently the American Press institute’s “Cyberjournalist.net” is tracking these folks, as they’ve done for the DNC. I can’t help but feel a little concerned, here. The establishment press has made no secret over the last several months, about Bloggers, and are openly wondering if Bloggers are a challenge to the ‘authority’ of the traditional press.  Could this tracking be an effort at control of what message gets out from these bloggers, I wonder? Just sayin’….

Side note: Speaking of controlling Bloggers, I note that there’s very little chatter about the bloggers the DNC first invited and the uninvited. But with the DNC obviously trying to muzzle their heart and soul of their own party… IE; the far left, I note with no small interest that the people they uninvited were, in my view, the most vocal and the most strident of the far left, and thereby this uninvitation was clearly inline with the laughable DNC effort to paint itself as conservative.

One thing noted as missing these last few days in Boston was the vacant stare of one Michael Stanley Dukakis.

WaTi says that the reason is, the Democrats have basicly shut him out of the convention, despite his having helped Kerry to gain office in the first place.

Apparently the reminder of the last time the Democrats ran a Mass Liberal for President is something they don’t want the American People to see.Again, the Democrats hide their heart and soul.

Decided to wait until this morning to give you some impressions from last night… because frankly, what we saw last night was nothing regular readers wouldn’t already know comes from Democrats:

The heart and soul of the Democrat party was not shown to us last night. What we saw last night was far leftists trying to play like they’re dyed in the wool conservatives. In a way, this is an indication of the victory of the right… the Democrats are tacitly admitting their core values won’t sell in middle America.

But listen close, and what we got last night was more of the same in a thin veil;
Government created jobs, bow to the union thugs, Class warfare, bow to the UN, etc.
Nothing new, and most certainly nothing Americans want. My co-worker here remarks that Jimmy Carter has sunk to a new low. Not so… he was always there… he’s just better than some at hiding his true nature.

But the biggest, overall impression of the DNC last night was that of a kid trying to hide what he’s really up to, and being sly about it. What we got last night didn’t give us the soul of the Democrats. If you want the real picture of what the heart and soul of the Democrats is, you’ll ahve to wait for hem to get around to releasing the tape of the foul tirade that was that NYC fundraiser.

And you know they’re not going to give you that.

In this story, buried under all the WaPo’s Spin is the real story:

“The poll showed Kerry narrowly trailing Bush among registered voters by 46 percent to 48 percent, distantly followed by Nader at 3 percent”

Of course the spin was on, even there, with eth WaPo claiming the reason was confusion on the part of the voter.

Could it be that rather than being confused, the voters are now starting to see just how vapid Kerry and his minions are?

A lot of Bloggers think Blogging is on a high this election season, with more influence than we’ve ever had.  I say, let’s test this. Let’s see how powerful Bloggers really are.

I challange all bloggers to link to this column of Anne’s, and denounce Useless Toady for not having the stone’s to print it.

Clearly, the leftist USA TODAY is kneeling to pressure from the Democrats. What say see if they grow a pair under the pressure the bloggers bring to the table, shall we?

You DO know that Aljazeera has a skybox at the DNC, right?

Apparently there are some in the Democrat party who don’t want that point known to the voting public.

Organisers at the Democratic Party convention in United States have removed Aljazeera’s logotype banner from its skybox without assigning reasons….

“We contacted the Democratic National Convention and the people who are organising the convention. And then they said it has been removed, maybe for lack of enough space or something like that, although they approved originally the sign and everything on it. And every time we get different answers.”

Hmmm. Every time, a diferent answer? Not unlike their annoited candidate, huh?

Heck, if that’s all it takes to get ’em going, sign me up. Matter of fact, I’ll state for the record.. I know the answer to your question….I DO know who is more dangerous to America’s future…  and let me be quite clear about this so there’s no mistake… and you can quote me on this:

I consider that the Kerry Voter is by far more dangerous to America’s future, and more likely to get us attacked again, than all the bloodthirsty terrorists OBL can toss at us.

The reason’s simple enough….OBL and happy his band of wandering minstrels can damage us, only to the extent that our leadership is willing to capitulate to them. Make no mistake….Kerry will do exactly that, as Boortz demonstrates, as has Kerry, himself, over the years.  The enemy within is ALWAYS more dangerous.

Like it or not, we’ve had war decalred on us.. and we’ve been in that state of affairs since 1995. As Boortz points out:

bin Laden has pledged to kill as many Americans as he can. He has even set a goal of four million. Will you be one of those? How about a member of your family? The Democrats are going to nominate a man who was opposed to removing Saddam Hussein from Kuwait. Terry, Baby… you GOTTA start going to your Anger Management therapy again!

Update:
I didn’t mention this last night because the initial reports were not clear. Apparently, the dispute between Ms Ketchup and the reporter was the exact phrasing she used… She used the phrase “UnAmerican” when speaking about the ‘uncivil” tone. She then claimed to the reporter when questioned, that she’d never used that word.

The reporter was right, she was wrong.

Update 2: Here’s the proof, on Vid. Just what you’d want to see the DNC opening up with. I guess the only positive out of this for the Democrats is that the question of when the first foot-shooting would occur would seem to have been answered.
