Whither Aldaynet?

Will someone please explain to me what the heck is up with Aldaynet? (You’ll notice it shows up at the top of my Blogroll a couple times a day usually.)

I’m getting update pings from it, but I’m getting 403 errors.

Can it be he’s out of his monthly bandwidth and doesn’t know it? This early in the month, yet?

He says: Blogspot domains have been blocked at the .htaccess level.

Oh, goody.
Apparently, you need to go directly there, without hitting a blogspot site first, such as, well, this one.

The Fresno Bee has a report up on it’s site today suggesting that the support for John Kerry is not exactly getting out the voters…

“Secretary of State Kevin Shelley is predicting a 43% turnout, which would be lower than in the last presidential primary.
Turnout was 48% in 1988, 47% in 1992, 42% in 1996 and 54% in 2000.”

So much for the myth of popular support for Kerry; Even among Democrats he can’t get the turnout.

The SanFran Chronicle is reporting something that only their own reporters aparently, hadn’t guessed:

“San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds, New York Yankees stars Jason Giambi and Gary Sheffield and three other major league baseball players received steroids from a Burlingame nutritional supplement lab, federal investigators were told.”

Thta they’re finally getting around to reporting this nonsense is a positive step, I suppose, but is so belated that it needs to be cast in those terms.

Baseball will never recover it’s old glory so long as people like this are involved with the game.

The Washington Timesis running somehting I had wondered about… was this kind of resentment ever going to surface:

Is God on our side, Senator Kerry?

Matt Drudge yesterday ran a Bit on his site, regarding the debate, and came up with this gem:

You’re usualy pretty sharp, so I gotta ask…Where did THAT come from? You’re the only one invoking Falwell, here. I recognize being anti-religious is fashionable these days, and Falwell seems to be a favorite target of late to such people but that argument’s not cutting it here, particularly when it has so very little to do with the context of the question being asked.

Regardless of your personal beleifs as regards the nature of God, one generally assumes God is good. Therefore the question comes down to the perception Kerry has about right and wrong…. Does John Kerry, on looking into his heart of hearts think the US is doing the right thing by Iraq… and clearly the answer is, he does not. It appears he’d prefer Saddam be back in power, rather like Hitlery mentioned over the weekend.

Kerry tried to shape the expression of that into a dig at Mr. Bush’s commitment to his faith, and failed.

It’s amazing that the Democrats still back this moron.. when he drops the softballs underhanded to him by the TIMES, you know he’s got some issues with thinking on his feet.

And I expected better out of Totten.
