In discussion with a self-proclaimed “environmentalist” just now…
Let’s assume for the moment that the environmental problems that you state actually exist, and that we can do anything about them, much less that we had any role in their Creation in the first place.
Can you offer up any solutions to said problem without invoking the power of government, to force everybody else in the world to do what you want them to do?
As I’ve noted before, It’s always government that these people run to. Every single one of their plans depends on a dictatorial government. Freedom depends on a healthy skepticism of any use of government power. yet, these people not only embrace governmental power, they worship it. Not only are they willing to bend the truth in order to get it they’re willing downright lie.
It’s about time somebody started taking CNN to the woodshed. so far as I’m concerned, this lawsuit is being leveled in service of the country as a whole.
The 47-page lawsuit, filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, accuses the liberal network of publishing “numerous egregiously false and defamatory” statements about Nunes on Nov. 22, 2019 when journalist Vicky Ward reported claims that Nunes met with Ukranian prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, in Vienna in 2018 to dig “up dirt” on Hunter and Joe Biden.
Nunes, who has been leading GOP opposition to the House Democratic impeachment inquiry in the House Intelligence Committee, says he “did not go to Vienna or anywhere else in Austria in 2018” and “has never met” Shokin.
One of the killer lines from the suit:
“CNN is the mother of fake news. It is the least trusted name. CNN is eroding the fabric of America,
proselytizing, sowing distrust and disharmony. It must be held accountable.”

It will be interesting to see CNN trying to defend itself on this one.
As I predicted a couple of weeks ago Kamala Harris is now gone.
This is a developing story but I have no doubts about its authenticity.
It’s kind of ironic though, that the only Democrat who hasn’t gone too far left for even the Democrat Party rank-and-file, much less the independent voter, is Joe Biden.
Harris dropping out of the race is certain if nothing else, to cause serious consternation on the part of the Democrats who are trying desperately to unseat Donald Trump.
Matt Margolis looks at the situation and says,
With Kamala Harris’s departure from the 2020 presidential race on Tuesday, the Democrats now will have a huge diversity problem on their hands as the only candidates left in the race who have qualified for the December 19th debate in Los Angeles are white.
Yeah well, so much for the Democrats and their “diversity”.
Matt in his peace also points out that’s Harris was blaming racism for her not gaining any traction in the Democrat primary. As I pointed out at the time, it’s amusing and useful to have a Democrat pointing out that there is racism in the Democrat Party… appoint which both Matt and I have been arguing for years. After all, this is a Democrat Party primary. Who would she be labeling as racist in that subset?
Democrats.
In truth I’m a little disappointed that she dropped out when she did. Word I got was that she just asked California governor Gavin Newsom to come out (pardon the pun) and campaign with her. Since the governor already signed a bill outline California is traveling to Iowa, it would have been interesting to see how he got around his own law.

Mini Mike Bloomberg’s news front, Bloomberg News, has announce that has ceased being a news organization, in that it will no longer report on any democrat presidential candidate. Imagine the editorial ruckus Bloomberg News would cause if a republican announced, and bragged, about a plan to raise taxes on the poor, for their own good of course. Yet that is exactly what Mini Mike has done.
So in the What Goes Around, Comes Around Department, Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale announced that the Trump campaign would no longer credential Bloomberg News. If Mini Mike wants to take the news out of Bloomberg News, then the Trump campaign has, and the Trump administration should, take Bloomberg News out of the news.

I’ve written often these last couple of years about the increased amount of anger that I see bubbling up against the unamerican left.
Sarah Hoyt puts me to shame with an epic piece that came out yesterday. I’ve already seen several people comment on it. Here’s just a bit of it:
…we’ve seen things that just ten years ago I’d have thought were insane: we’ve seen Hillary pardoned for crimes that would have sent anyone else with her clearance to prison. We’ve seen open conspirators and liars disporting themselves in the limelight and get not even a slap on the wrist. Instead they get lucrative book deals for books that everyone knows will sell three copies. We’ve seen a former president bug a rival’s campaign, and try to discredit the rival with a fake dossier, and yet remain free, rich and revered (though not by the left who now are trying to convince us he was a conservative. No sale, guys, that baby with the bright red diaper is ALL yours. Kiss him on the puss and call him daddy. You own him.) We’ve seen now two attempts to take the president down on fake accusations and fake “evidence” with full complicity of the media. We’ve seen the President’s executive orders countermanded by judges out of podunk who never said “Bah” to a single one of Obama’s use of pen and phone, no matter how outrageous.
We’ve seen you try to impeach the president because Joe Biden is corrupt.
And what’ seen can’t be unseen.
Here, I’ll decode for you, hard of hearing leftists: Jeffrey Epstein didn’t kill himself, means “We can see you there behind the curtain. You’re not a great wizard. You’re not a medium size wizard. You’re just corrupt little leftists swollen in your own importance. AND WE SEE YOU. AND WE SEE THROUGH YOU.”

There is an anger in the land I don’t think you’re even vaguely aware of. I’m not — not even close — the most hot tempered on our side. And I was a very reluctant Trump voter. But watching your sham- wow-impeachment (It’s Russia, it’s Ukraine, it’s taxes, it’s mean tweets against the squad, it’s the fact that orange man bad), your attempt to reverse elections you don’t like, and silence people who don’t agree with you, has me spitting mad, furious, not even sure what to do with all this anger. And I’m not alone. You have no idea of the anger stalking this land. (And if you say “you sound angry” guess what “Damn skippy. You have no idea how angry.” The only ones not angry aren’t paying attention.)
As I say, I’ve written about the anger boiling up in this country in the past, but nothing I’ve written approaches this.
To my eye her writings have always appeared to be a little bit too stayed, too reserved for the situation. With this, she has captured in writing a small piece of what’s going on in this country. There is a backlash coming against the Democrats that as she says they’re not even vaguely aware of yet. The fact that the situation has managed to get the usually stayed Sarah Hoyt off the dime, I consider outstanding proof of my thought.
I’m telling you right now, this anger is going to have the Democrat party facing a defeat that makes Ronald Reagan’s landslides look tame by comparison.
While Mrs. Pelosi is too busy to do her job and bring the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) to floor vote, she does have time take vacation to Spain, from Breitbart:
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.)[et al] will fly out Sunday with a large delegation of congressional Democrats heading 3,781 miles across the Atlantic to the United Nations COP25 climate change conference in Madrid.
A key element of the conference will seek to place financial penalties on global commercial aviation to stop people flying and making “unnecessary contributions to atmospheric carbon dioxide pollution.” The Pelosi delegation will join almost 25,000 people and 1500 journalists flying into the Spanish capital to attend the meeting.

This is despite the fact the Speaker of the House will represent nobody but herself and her party as she is prevented by law from conducting foreign policy or make any agreements with foreign leaders regarding sovereign treaties.
Mrs. Pelosi holds that impeachment is the sole prevue of the House. Well the conduct of foreign policy is the sole responsibility of the President, which Mrs. Pelosi is not. Mrs. Pelosi fronting a mob of sixteen democrat stooges to a conference for a cause in which she clearly does not support. You can not be against unnecessary air travel while taking sixteen stooges to a conference where you lack any authority.

Somehow, I don’t think I have to say much on this one, at all.
I am sure Dr. Jill Biden knew where her finger was. However did the former Vice President, Joseph Biden, realize on whose finger he was nibbling or even where he was? This is the democrat’s leading presidential contender. Slow Joe may have been on stage in Iowa, but nobody was home.
The man did precisely the right thing in this case.
Wouldn’t it be interesting if, at some point during the presidential campaign, if one of the candidates asked, “Oh, by the way, has anyone in Washington, D.C., ever heard of the McCarran-Walter Act Of 1952 ?”
I did not know of this act until recently, but it has been a law for almost 65 years. Here are the historic facts that would seem to indicate that many, if not most, of the people we elect, to work for us in Washington, do not have the slightest idea of what laws already exist in OUR country.
After several terrorist incidents were carried out in the United States, Donald Trump was severely criticized and sued for suggesting that the U.S. should limit or temporarily suspend the immigration of certain ethnic groups, nationalities and even people of certain religions (Muslims).
The criticisms condemned such a suggestion as, among other things, being un-American, dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous and racist.
Congressmen and senators swore that they would never allow such legislation, and our former president called such a prohibition on immigration unconstitutional.
As Gomer Pyle would say, “Well, surprise, surprise!”, It seems that the selective immigration ban is already law and has been applied on several occasions.
Known as the [ McCarran-Walter Act ], the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 allows for the: “suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by the president, whenever the president finds that the entry of aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States.”
“The president may, by proclamation and for such a period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens, immigrants or non- immigrants, or impose any restrictions on the entry of aliens he may deem to be appropriate.”

Carter used it 40 years ago, in 1979 to keep Iranians out of the United States. But Carter actually did more.
He made ALL Iranian students, already in the United States, check in with the government, then he deported a bunch of them. Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas and a total of 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the USA in 1979.
So, what do you say about all of the criticism that Donald Trump received from the Democratic senators, representatives and the Obama Administration ???
Additionally, it is important to note that the McCarran-Walter Act also requires that an ” applicant for immigration must be of good moral character and in agreement with the principles of our Constitution.” !!! WOW !!!
Therefore, one could surmise that since the Quran forbids Muslims to swear allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, technically, ALL Muslims should be or could be refused immigration to OUR country.
Incidentally, both McCarran and Walter were democrats.

Three women have come forth accusing U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland of sexual harassment.
Sondland, a star witness in the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry against President Trump, reportedly made sexual advances on the three women and then “he retaliated against them professionally after they rejected his advances.”
Admittedly, I didn’t see this one coming but frankly it doesn’t surprise me at all. The reason is simple enough of course… his testimony instead of being the star witness for the Democrats ended up destroying their wet dreams of impeachment:

Mrs. Clinton must be devastated that the demonstrations in Hong Kong are for more democracy and not for higher Clinton Foundation speaking fees. Adam Schiff for Brain, and CNN’s Brian Stetler must be heartbroken that the Hong Kong protesters did not use their likenesses.
