Nobel Peace Prize To Iraqi Voters>

Instapundit mentions this morning a move afoot to give the Nobel Peace Prize to the Iraqi voters.  A nice idea.

Personally, I’d like to see it given to George W. Bush.
And it fits, too… After all, even Nobel himself understood that sometimes you need to use copious amounts of his invention… gunpowder… to achieve a lasting peace.

Too bad our own left hasn’t figured that one, yet.

I’ve been looking for some chip-reprogramming ability so as to max out Bit’sBox, my GMC Safari Conversion van. Mostly, I’m interested in tweaking the MPG some. There’s a lot of stuff out there to interface the onboard computer with a laptop for that kinda stuff, along with the stand-alone boxes that hang off the diagnostic port. But this is the first I’ve ever seen that will tie a GameBoy to the ECM this way.Engadget has details

And for those asking, thank you. My Mother in-law continues to recover at an out-patient facility.  She has not as yet regained much of her mobility. This is going to be a longer slog than we’d originally hoped. A prayer there wouldn’t hurt, either.

Just One Minute notes that while the left has been doing a victory dance on Jeff Gannon, all of thgarbage they’ve managed to come up with has been from Kos… and there’s little or no actual evidence to back the charges. What there is, runs directly against the claims of the usual suspects, in fact.

Now why would the Democrats be making charges with nothing to back it up, I wonder?

The story of Sarah Scantlin should remove any doubt about what we should to about Terry Shaivo. Somehow, I doubt the people in the latter case will take the evidnece of the former into their consideration, though.

A report from AP says the cracks are starting to appear in the Democrat Facade.

Sen. Tom Carper, D-Del., said any plan should be bipartisan, in part to give lawmakers from both parties political cover for supporting major changes to such the popular retirement program.

“I don’t believe that we should rule out the accounts,” Carper said Friday in an interview. “We have a very low savings rate in this country and clearly need to find ways to stimulate savings, and I think we should be open to a wide range of ideas and not dismiss them out of hand.”

ZDNet UK News is reporting that the Anti-Spyware that Microsoft is planning…. planning, I said, to market…. it’s not out of Beta, yet… already has a bit of Malware designed to disable it.

The Trojan is called Bankash, and leaves a DLL called ASH.DLL on the affected hard drive.

The response time on this stuff makes it look like Microsoft has some insiders developing Malware for their products.
