THIS SOUNDS ABOUT RIGHT:
“If a nuclear war between Israel and Iran were to break out 16-20 million Iranians would lose their lives – as opposed to 200,000-800,000 Israelis, according to a report recently published by the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies.”
Certainly does sound about right. But I caution against trusting in these numbers actually preventing Iran from doing exactly that… starting a war against Israel. That attitude is exactly the one Ron Paul exhibited with Russert yesterday… and it leaves aside the point that this is a rational argument against such an action on the part of Iran…. and fails utterly to take into account the idea that Jihad is anything but rational.
