While I have been negligent in tracking the shootings and the murders in the People’s Republic of Chicago, Professor William A. Jacobson, Legal Insurrection has taken up the slack, from Peter Nickeas, Chicago Tribune:
A 7-year-old girl was struck by a stray bullet from a gun fired by a man arguing after a basketball game Thursday, one of at least six overnight shootings in Chicago that left one dead and seven people wounded.

A 29-year-old man died after getting shot in the back and leg, a 30-year-old man was shot in the right elbow and a third man, 30, suffered a graze wound to the head, Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.
It is obvious who is doing the shooting. The only civilians legally allowed have guns in the PRC are Mayor Rahm Emanuel campaign supporters.

Murders are up 60% in the past three months, and there has been a daily rampage of shootings, including 7 shot overnight last night, and a mother and baby girl in their home the day before.
By all means, continue to focus on the attempted judicial lynching of an Hispanic man in Florida and the murder spree in Emanuel’s Chicago
