Just some thoughts on this Thanksgiving day.
Perhaps some of you are unaware of the origins of this day being set aside as a national day of Thanksgiving.
Also, you may not know that Ol’ Ben Franklin wanted to make the Turkey the national bird, thinking the Eagle a bird of Bad moral character, a rank coward.
‘course now, the turkey Ben Franklin knew was brightly plumed, and a rather cunning bird… and one that wasn’t so darned fat he couldn’t fly. So, had Ben had his way, the turkey would be in the endagered species list, and we’d all be eating roast Eagle, with all the trimmings, I suppose.
Seriously, though… some of you wonder who we’re thanking, and for what. A look back will answer these questions, and possibly give you a new perspective on things.
Many of you, I’m sure don’t know that Thomas Jefferson wasn’t interested in a national day of Thanksgiving, apparently being conflicted about who we were to thank. However, some more open minded people prevailed. Like George Washington, for example… who said in part, in his Thanksgiving Day Proclamation;
NOW THEREFORE, I do recommend and affign THURSDAY, the TWENTY-SIXTH DAY of NOVEMBER next, to be devoted by the people of thefe States to the fervice of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our fincere and humble thanksfor His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the fignal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpofitions of His providence in the courfe and conclufion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty which we have fince enjoyed;- for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enable to eftablish Conftitutions of government for our fafety and happinefs, and particularly the national one now lately instituted;- for the civil and religious liberty with which we are bleffed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffufing useful knowledge;- and, in general, for all the great and various favours which He has been pleafed to confer upon us.

Of course Thanksgiving in it’s current context would be eventually declared unconstitutional, if we allow the courts to run things. And perhaps that’s something we ought to remember today, as well.. and be thankful that they’ve not gotten that kind of power from us. That, I am certainly thankful for. (May they NEVER have such power!) If original intent counts for anything in the realm of the Constitution, and I think it does, these proclaimations should end the argument about claims of seperation of church and state.. and the push toward the removal of the one we should be thankful to, today.

“U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton forced U.S. troops stationed at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan to wait for their Thanksgiving dinner last Thursday while she and her entourage arrived late, then cut in line and were served first.”
Well, THAT figures, doesn’t it?
One point that comes up in this story more fully explains why Hitlery’s visit to Bagram wasn’t covered as heavily as one might expect:
People magazine was on hand to cover the event and wanted to interview the troops for reaction to Clinton’s visit.
“But they were getting declined left and right,” our source said. “People were actually telling the reporters, ‘You don’t want to print what I think about her and her visit.'”
After Clinton and her entourage departed, the only topics GIs wanted to talk about were “how great the food was and how fantastic they thought George Bush’s visit to Iraq was.”
I wonder what Hillary Clinton’s view of Thanksgiving is, huh?
Meanwhile, President Bush also showed up in the area.. in Iraq, specifically, and got a bit of a different response I said at the time:
What a brilliant bit of being president! What a fabulous story this is! Now, it didn’t take long at all for about everyone to see that this at least was going to mean a tremendous boost to Bush’s popularity numbers. Which of course means that Democrats and the leftist media were going to try and find a way to spin this against him. But a funny thing happened on the way to the microphones; The Democrat leadership couldn’t get their act together, and all came out looking like idiots. And the rank and file is getting rather desperate.
As soon as this story broke on Thanksgiving day, I jumped on the net and went over to Democraticunderground.com, where I found: (Warning; the language is about what you’d expect from someone of their mental capacity.)
I fear that this one gesture will be the tipping point past which * re-connects with wavering white males and so-called independents. The media is ga-ga over this farce of a visit. The messages from the whore centers will get much more syrupy and orgasmic as the weekend approaches cultminating in a literal ejactulation of praise and wonder on the sunday talk shows. Even Democratic senators will be stepping all over themselves to praise *’s holy visit as an act of courage and daring-do. It won’t be pretty and it won’t be easy to take.
I feel in my gut that this changes everything. The sheeple are just beginning to pay attention to the dawning political season and, for many, this stunt will be their initial waking image: “Our President is indeed a cool guy. Our President is indeed brave and true. Our President risked his life to visit our troops.” And yada yada yada yada …..
Counter that with Dashle, and Biden, and Zell Miller, and all the rest of the regular cast of mealy-mouthed spinless Dems who, mark my words, will end up praising the piss-ant poseur, and what do you have? You have the very real makings of a blowout landslide for fascism and all that is transparently un-american gaining unambiguous approval in November of 2004.
This is the worst I’ve felt in my entire life on this shithole of a planet in this shithole of a country. I can’t image what I’ll feel like in early November 2004. I can’t imagine feeling worse than I do right now but I’ve got to prepare myself for something I dread and fear to the very depth of my soul: The final and irrevokable loss of our democracy to fascism.
What the fuck have we become? In the final analysis it was all just so much sand sifting through our fingers. Just so much sand.

The response to his showing up was thunderous applause, both in the hall, and here at home. “It’s got to be a lonely moment for them,” said the President. “I thought it was important to send that message that we care for them (the troops) and we support them strongly, that we erase any doubts in their minds as to whether or not the people stand with them.”
He also said, correctly ” Having seen the reaction of those troops, you know it was the right thing to do.”
Given the response at home, it was the right thing to do on that score, as well. This trip did several things:
It got Michael Jackson off the front page, at least until the press figured out there was no way to spin this negative for the president.
Much as some in the press bicthewd and moaned about not being told about his trip, it showed clearly that most people here at home approve of the President not telling the press his every move. One could extrapolate that a bit and take the suggestion that the President has more trust in the end, than the press does.
It upstaged Hitlery’s trip, basically keeping her off the screens… given her trip, she couldn’t even bitch about Bush’s trip. It should not have, however. Look what she pulls: In what must have been a demoralizing message to U.S. soldiers she told them that Americans back home are growing increasingly skeptical of President Bush’s decision to send them into battle. What a moron.
It answered all those who figured we’re going to cut and run.
It made a rather clear demonstration of the differences between an administrator and a leader. Nobody since Reagan and to a lesser degree, Bush Sr., understood this difference. It’s clear by the polling data, however, that the American people, including his opposition, understand the difference.
And perhaps that’s where I ought to leave this. With the troops.
Among the many things I am thankful for this thanksgiving, is we have so many fine, brave people willing to give of their time, their talents, and possibly their lives, for something bigger.
They’re there because they know the job needs doing. But it’s a job they can’t do alone. I’d like you to consider saying a prayer for our fighting men and women, today. Doesn’t have to be fancy. Just thank God for them. Ask for his help in the Iraq mess being settled, so that as many as possible can come home.
Oh… one more thing, I think. Pay attention to those around the table with you this day. Give thanks for them while you have them. No relationship is forever, since we are all mortal.
Put aside what petty differences you have with these special people in your life, for special they are. Alas!, that many of us find out how special they were only after they are gone from us. And celebrate that whatever else happens, you are together, this day.

essentially, what we’re going to have is four years worth of liberal backsliding. Assuming that the country lasts quite that long under their “leadership”.
Frankly at this point that’s an open question.

A new study published in the journal Nature has found that people who are either asymptomatic or undergoing a secondary illness of COVID-19 are simply not infectious, and don’t give the virus to others.
In other words, it appears that the only time people can infect others is when they have the virus for the first time, and only when they are symptomatic. Lock downs and the use of masks by the healthy accomplish nothing. All you need to do is quarantine the symptomatic patient, as human societies have been doing for centuries and centuries.

Sidney Powell said that she has collected evidence of a vote switching scheme involving Dominion machine and Smartmatic software.
She told reporters that the Smartmatic technology software was developed in Venezuela to steal elections for Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez almost 15 years ago, and stated that she had a strong witness who had submitted an affidavit testifying to that.
This isn’t going away, folks.
This thing has smelled from the beginning and now it’s beginning to be revealed.
According to reports I’m seeing the official numbers of people who have left New York City since March to take up life elsewhere in the country easily tops 300,000 people. Since some of those numbers are change of address which could include entire families the number is in all likelihood much higher period some estimates I see as high as 750,000.
I know people that have spent their entire lives in New York City never having traveled outside of it for more than a day or two, who are now considering leaving the place permanently.
I’ve spoken with moving companies and what they tell me is precisely the same thing I’m hearing on local news in NYC… Existing moving trucks are booked until at least mid-june.
Reasons officially listed for this mad rush to the exits?
Everything being closed down, and covid-19. The real reason, of course, is government, which has both mishandled the coronavirus, and has shut everything down. In this case, specifically, Cuomo the lesser, and de Blasio the communist. Because of those two idiots, crime is through the ceiling, (NYPD being throttled as it is) disease is rampant, taxes are outrageous, and the price of everything is through the roof. All of these can be directly laid on the lap of government both city and state.
I grant you that 750,000 people in terms of New York City doesn’t seem all that large, and can likely be counted as one city block.the thing is, this Exodus shows no sign whatsoever of slowing down anytime soon.
One can only hope that the New Yorkers that have finally reached the international “enough” line, and have made for the exits don’t bring their Democrat party voting habits with them thereby turning wherever they move to into the same hell that they escaped.

Well, this is unexpected. While I knew Fox News was losing viewers (at least during the times when Tucker Carlson and the rest of the prime time lineup aren’t saving them), I didn’t expect a competing, right-leaning network to do this well, this soon against the conservative news giant.
Newsmax broke 1 million viewers for the first time ever. ‘Greg Kelly Reports’ was the happy recipient of what appears to be a wave of Republican viewers changing the channel.
Fox News gained fifty percent market share when it was a dependable patriotic news source. That share is up for grabs. If a playboy like Ted Turner can make his cable news, I am sure that a businessman, say Donald J. Trump (Sr. or Jr.) can as well. The magazines are full of ordinance read to fire.

I was wondering which way that particular race was going to go. I am reminded of a somewhat less critical battle between AM radio stations back in the middle 70s, here in the Rochester area, between WBBF and WAXC, the two top 40 stations in town at that time.
WBBF was a little 1,000 w station that for almost a decade have been kicking butt on the rest of the market, all but one of which had larger coverage.
Along came WAXC, who decided they were going to challenge the hold that BBF had on the market. It took them a few years but they eventually did it period when they did the owners decided okay I’ve had enough and they sold it to a new owner who immediately changed the format and the call sign of the station. Completely different feel, completely different music, and their audience basically disappeared overnight. The new call was WWWG, which, the local pundits labeled “what went wrong guys?”
I’d like to say that’s all this is with Fox news. Even though the majority of it fits, there is a political angle to all of this that cannot be ignored… And the repercussions of it are going to be large.

Even so, covid19 has about run its course. In another 6 weeks regardless what else happens, it will no longer be a factor. So in doing this, Basement Joe gets to shut down the economy, claim that it’s all Trump’s fault, and then claim that he fixed the whole problem, and when he opens things up again the economy takes off,comparatively speaking…. After being nearly dead for a year because of this nonsense, it could hardly do otherwise.
It’s a clever move, but rather transparently fraudulent.
It’s also premature, given that the election is hardly a settled question yet.
The Democrats fully understand that point too. Didn’t anybody notice that all of a sudden, when the election did not come out with a clear winner, suddenly there were spikes of covid-19 in the reporting of the MSM?

Never let it be said that I thought that Slow Joe, a/k/a Potemkin Joe, b/k/a Joseph Biden(moron – DE) was smart. Oh in is younger days, and his fleeting rational moments, he was glib.

Information operations depend on not being noticed. They have to be part of what looks like the background noise to nudge people toward a conclusion. If the hand is seen, the magic is lost and the mark spots the trick.
Team Biden engineered over the last four years a layered plan to still the election. One they inflated Slow Joe’s apparent popularity with rigged polls. Two, dug up, registered and voted dead voters. Three the used Chinese software to steal Trump votes for Slow Joe. to put him over their anticipated Trump totals. Then the scat hit the fan. Trump exceeded Team Biden’s projects. Team Joe had a panic attack, closed down the vote count, and dumped hundreds of thousands to blank ballots into democrat controlled polling centers.
Now Team Biden can deny the vote fraud, but it sure looks and smells
like vote fraud. What looks like a crime should be investigated as if it were a crime, steps:
- Investigate the apparent crime. If the stats attorney general says that the vote count had to stopped because a pipe burst, make him show the broken pipe.
- Insure that every valid ballot is counted and every invalid one rejected.
- If possible remedy the vote count.
- Award the electors only to the side which has the greater probability of being the winner. It is only necessary to identify the fact of vote fraud at this stage. The conviction can wait.
- Find and prosecute the guilty parties. I’d start with who called the democrat tabulating centers and told them to stop the count. Somebody in charge of the centered issued an order to stop counting and somebody directed the stop.
Hold every, state and federal, democrat and republican, politician’s feet to the fire. Remember President Donny, and team, was persecuted for four years over fictional case created and pushed at the behest of Mrs. Clinton

There is an old saying that suggests any organization that does not specifically start as a conservative organization will end up working in precisely the opposite direction, eventually.
Apparently, so it is with FoxNews.
I will start with Jack Hellner over at American Thinker.
I used to enjoy watching Fox News with news host Bret Baier, which was a great remedy to ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. But not all that much anymore, because it seems to be going left. (Correction: Fox News ratings are not declining, as earlier indicated, and FNC has been #1 in cable news for 22 weeks in a row.)
I see it in places I’d never expect. Take Baier. Recently, Baier said he has a tough time explaining Sean Hannity. Bret has been moving left just like the Wall Street Journal’s editorial page has. (The news section has long been hopelessly left-wing.)
Why are Baier and so many others acting so out of character? I think it’s because all those people obviously want to be liked by their peers and don’t care about their viewers. Instead of giving us any sort of balance in the news, they are rapidly coming to resemble their peers.
Whike I agree with Hellner that’s probably a lot of it, it goes a little deeper than that.
The management has changed at Fox, and not for the better.
Joe Hoft at The Gateway Pundit sinks his teeth into this one:
Well it’s official, FOX News has decided that crushing the competition is no longer their goal. Instead, the CEO decided to join its far-left competition and symbolically indicated that FOX will now be far-left as well. CEO Lachlan Murdoch, the son who recently took over the reigns of the company from his elderly father, is now running the show. This explains the far-left bias during the daily news shows on the FOX News channel when Trump supporters either tune them out, turn them off or gratefully go to work so they don’t have to watch the daily shows.
Son Lachlan is bound and determined to turn FOX News into CNN. He evidently has no common sense and is willing to stick it to his customers (viewers) who are not of the same ideology as he is. Unfortunately, the younger Murdoch is not concerned with keeping FOX a going concern, but rather making sure far-left ideas are pushed to viewers.
So much for Fox News.
You would think, I suppose, that these new Fox executives would be worried about losing viewers but that’s not how social justice warriors like these work.

The top boss of all the election officials, Trey Trainor, has confirmed that in his professional opinion, “there has not been transparency in the election” and “this election is illegitimate.“
He dropped the bombshell on the liberal news media at Newsmax when he made the announcement that he believes “that there is voter fraud taking place in these places.”
Gee, no kidding.
