Another Kerry LIE Exposed… Don’t These People Ever Learn?

FactCheck.org exposes yet anotrher LIE by john Kerry:

“A Kerry ad has Bush saying that sending jobs overseas ‘makes sense.’ But Bush didn’t say that.”

Let’s open this with an admission; There’s not much to write about on the subject I’ve been writing on for the last several weeks; John Kerry.

So, perhaps this week we should turn to his supporters for things to write on…let’s see what we can find that is consistent between them, that’s currently making the rounds.

One of the ones that’s gained some serious argument in Blogdom of late is Markos Moulitsas Zuniga, otherwise known to we mere mortals, as “Daily Kos” Kos, as he’s known, has been rather tight with the Democrat leadership for some time. According to reports, John Kerry’s campaign has received $48,349 by 566 donors through Daily Kos. The Democrat Party as a whole has received $60,776 by 636 donors through Daily Kos. Kerry’s website linked directly to Kos.

Linked, as in past tense, because this genius came up with the following comment, as regards the news media not showing for the most part, the available vid of the Fallujah attacks…

“Let the people see what war is like… There are real repercussions to Bush’s folly. That said, I feel nothing over the death of mercenaries. They aren’t in Iraq because of orders, or because they are there trying to help the people make Iraq a better place. They are there to wage war for profit. Screw them.'”

Well, first, I suppose I should ask: Delivering food and such is “waging war for profit”?

That point aside, it is interesting how often the left shows how much of it’s mantra is founded in blind hatred… and this seems a potent example of such. Eric Margolis, of Blogs For Bush says it better than most:

“Such shameful, despicable, immoral words, uttered by liberal blogger Markos Moulitsas (“Kos”) are a sad and disturbing reflection of the lows that liberals take themselves to because of their hatred for President Bush, and objections to the freedom of the Iraqi people.

It is by no means any less disturbing that Senator John Kerry and the Democrat Party have embraced Kos because of his prowess on the blogosphere.”

And Kos is by no means unique in this.

Indeed, he’s unremarkable. I mean, at what point do we start to admit to ourselves that Kos and his now-exposed attitudes, are not all that unusual on the left?

Let’s take a look at Democrat rank and file for reaction to his ‘outing’, right from John F’ing Kerry’s website, to drive the point home, shall we?

“Cutting off your nose to spite your face in my opinion. Kos has not only raised awareness of Democratic values, he has raised real dollars to aid in the fight against Bush and his cronies. Even if his post was incorrect (which it wasn’t, in its entirety), we NEED Kos, period.”

So gloating over American dead is Democratic Values? Nice they finally admit it.

“As a Democrat who supports John Kerry for President, I hereby DEMAND that you replace this link and quit acting like cowards.”

So, not agreeing with Kos in his gloat over American dead is being a ‘coward’.

…

“The DailyKos blog has done more to invigorate progressive and Democratic action, activism, and information than just about any destination on the Internet.”

“What KoS said makes some sense.”

“Chasing the big stories the Media is in a tizzy over is just politics as usual and won’t separate this campaign from the sensationalism”

“It’s almost frightening to see such censorship from someone who claims to be a Democrat…some big tent!!”

Oh, great. So, calling Kos what he is, is censorship.

“kos is a moderate mainstream Democrat.”

Yeah, I’ll accept that. But, think, actually stop think and ask yourselves, you who call yourself mainstream Democrats… like what you see?

“Because Kos is a part of the mainstream left and a DNC insider, the average American could get the idea that his comments are a reflection of the Party’s feelings about American and Americans.”

Oh, that last one’s a keeper. “Could get the idea”?  Could see that as the fact, you mean.  This last guy at least is willing to admit the truth; that the American people will see this is the kind of mindless hatred that the left is driven by. And in the end, that’s really all it is, driving tem; Hate.

This hate is nothing new; Hate has always been party and parcel of the left. Kos and his comments are not at all unlike Fonda and her ilk..(Kerry included) wishing death and destruction on those fighting in ‘nam. This is not piling on; this is simply fact. Fact the left canntot get around. Try as the left will to disconnect themselves from such people, they cannot; such people, such ideals, are the base of the left wing today.

The sooner we can get to the point of admitting it, we can “move on.”

Such shameful, despicable, immoral words, uttered by liberal blogger Markos Moulitsas (“Kos”) are a sad and disturbing reflection of the lows that liberals take themselves to because of their hatred for President Bush, and objections to the freedom of the Iraqi people.

It is by no means any less disturbing that Senator John Kerry and the Democrat Party have embraced Kos because of his prowess on the blogosphere.

Last December, Kos guest blogged on the DNC’s blog “Kicking Ass”, where he detailed ” royal treatment” from DNC staffers and having a meeting with Terry McAuliffe. Kos and his co-blogger virtually salivated over the experience, swooning over the efforts of the DNC to “change the rules about how they communicate with their supporters.”

Obviously, the DNC holds Kos in high regard and sees him as an asset to their cause.

Now, Kos is another liberal blogger who “dated Dean” and “married Kerry” – of course things were pretty serious in Kos’s relationship with Dean. Kos was invited to travel with Howard Dean during his campaign. Kos certainly has made friends in high places in the DNC…

Kos has his hands buried deep in several campaigns. Blogger Michael Friedman wrote to the campaigns of several candidates with ties to Kos.

Martin Frost, Democrat Congressional Candidate in Texas. The campaign manager wrote him back:

The campaign of Joe Donnelly, Democrat Congressional Candidate in Indiana, and Joe Hoeffel, Democrat Senatorial Candidate in Pennsylvania, have also stopped advertising on Kos’s website.

Question: Who has not severed ties with Markos Moulitsas Zuniga?

Answer: Senator John F. Kerry.

Daily Kos is still listed on Kerry’s Website on his “Blogs, Boards, and Networking Groups” page.

Daily Kos is still listed on John Kerry’s blogroll.

Kos still has a contribution page on Kerry’s website.

Where is John Kerry now?

Does Kos have any regrets? No. He’s written it off in a similar way that John Kerry would in a post titled “I took their best shot, and… that was it?”:

He claims to have received racial comments and threats of violence against him. True or not, I don’t know, nor do I condone such a reaction, but Kos has blindly labeled these actions as “you know, typical right-wing sh*t.”

Most insulting, is Kos’s last remark on the “tizzy” of “wingnuts”:

Where is John Kerry, by the way?

Kos has once again belittled the vicious deaths of Americans in Iraq by dismissing the outrage and criticism against him as partisan attacks. John Kerry is nowhere to be found. No de-linking. Nothing.

I will add the comment that this attempt at seperation is already having an effect; The folks reading the Kerry site are NOT pleased. And I will repeat:

And Kerry will not seperate himself from Kos for the same reason. THIS is the message we need to get out to the voter… the kind of vile non-thinking hatred the Democrats are driven by.

Joe Hagen at the NY Observer reports some good news:

“….the deal for former Vice President Al Gore and his business partner Joel Hyatt to acquire digital-cable channel Newsworld International (NWI) has hit a major obstacle and may have fallen through in the 11th hour of negotiations. “

Hmmm. Is it possible that the investor who pulled out has cold feet because of Gore’s involvement and the public reaction to the deal before it ever goes through? Word here is that the NWI is already getting hammered with negative feedback… particualrly viewers upset at the impending deal.

AP News is reporting:

“MADRID, Spain – At least three suspects in the Madrid railway bombings blew themselves up Saturday as police prepared to storm their apartment. One special forces agent was killed in the explosion and 15 police officers were wounded. “

This apparently after another bomb was found under the tracks of a high-speed train line, which was made of the same brand of explosive, Goma 2 Eco, that was used in the Madrid train attacks.

For all of John Kerry’s wialing about Predident BUsh’s comments about the outsourcing of jobs being a good thing, guess what? The Predient is correct. A new sudy out tells us exactly this, and it’s not good news for the Kerry camp who had banked so heavily on the emotional impact of some job displacements to gain votes.

The study by the economic research firm Global Insight for the Information Technology Association of America, a high-tech trade group, came amid a searing political debate on outsourcing and the sluggish US labor market.

“While global IT software and service outsourcing displaces some IT workers, total employment in the United States increases as the benefits ripple through the economy,” the report said.

While 104,000 jobs in the sector were moved offshore last year, the study found that “the incremental economic activity that follows offshore IT outsourcing created over 90,000 net new jobs in 2003 and is expected to create 317,000 net new jobs in the US in 2008.

Says one poster on Democratic Underground: “We are doomed”.

Odd, the country does well, Democrats think it a bad thing.

Over the next several days, you’re going to be seeing the name Sibel Edmonds come up. In fact, I’d not be surprised to see it come up in Rice’s testimony to the 9/11 commission next Thursday. In fact, I have to wonder if that’s why the Democrats are so hot on getting her back in to testify. You’ll see why I say that as we proceed.

Who is she?

Well, Edmonds in October 2002 appeared on 60 Minutes and leveled several rather sensational criticisms of the FBI’s translation department, where she’d worked until she got fired. She claimed, for example, that her supervisor had told her to translate intercepted documents slowly, if at all, so that the agency’s budget would be increased. As such, she claimed, vital intel was lost. This would have occurred in the late 90’s under Bill Clinton’s presidency.

She went on to claim that many of her co-workers were not only incompetent, but that one, a Melek “Can” (Jan) Dickerson, had tried to recruit Edmonds to a terrorist front organization, had deliberately failed to translate important documents, so as to prevent the discovery of their import, and that this same co-worker, threatened to kill Edmonds and her family.  This charge seems to have some serious credibility issues… Dickerson’s husband is U.S. Air Force Maj. Douglas Dickerson.

Appsrently this wasn’t large enough to attract any attention to Edmonds, so she went on to claim that she was offered a substantial raise and a full time job in order to not go public that she had been asked by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to retranslate and adjust the translations of [terrorist] subject intercepts that had been received before September 11, 2001 by the FBI and CIA.

More recently… January, I think, Edmonds gave an interview to Gail Sheehy. In that interview, she repeated these allegations, and the went on to add some verbiage about how she’d be telling her tale about her supervisors and co-workers to the 9/11 commission.

Apparently now on a roll she want on to level new charges, saying that when she reported the earlier mentioned threat against her and her family to the FBI’s executive assistant director, that the director (Dale Watson, at the time I think) asked Turkey to interrogate Edmonds’ sister, who was in Intsanbul at the time.

The FBI fired Edmonds in 2002, and she responded by suing them… In February of 2004. The lawsuit case is still pending as this is written.

Now of course the link here, the reason why this is going to come up, is the Democrats are looking for something / anything they can use to wedge the idea that President Bush knew about 9/11 in advance, under the carpet. Which in turn is why I suggest this will come up at the Commission on Thursday.

I’ve seen several people question why, given such explosive charges, this woman’s name hasn’t been all over the papers, and the TV.

The reason you’ve not heard much about this woman is simple… The woman is a nut, and even the leftist press can’t make this pig fly. As usual, their ‘rock solid’ evidence is questionable at best; Edmonds is simpy not credible. I personally think she has strong personal motivations to discredit those who fired her, that have nothing to do with National Security, 9/11 or anything but her job performance. Beyond that, there seems to be some questions about her mental stability in many quarters.

That point aside, there’s the issue of why she’s only bringing this lawsuit now… Literally years after the event, and why she would wait until an election cycle.

Then, too, there’s the idea that all of this went down during the Clinton administration, and so if the Democrats are hoping to hang anything on Mr. Bush, this tactic will backfire.

“Hey”, said Mr. Bush, “He’s got this war on terror thing down. We SHOULD turn over the whole thing to the same people who’ve been ripping off the Iraqi people for billions of dollars for the last decade… the UN. Let them run right over us… what the hell.”
