Does anyone think that either one of these jokers, Northam or Herring, would be accorded any courtesy by the media if they were Republicans? No. There would be special theme songs on cable and network news, there would be special graphics, there would be people interviewing every person that ever went to school with these blackfacers. The media would be parked outside their residences, following relatives around, going through trash. There would be confrontations by angry activists captured on video. Think of the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing as a paradigm. Why aren’t we seeing this?
I assume the question is rhetorical because I don’t think there’s anybody on the planet with a brain cell functioning that doesn’t understand why we’re not seeing it.
However, as Reynolds pointed out earlier, the media is waiting to spring into action on any hint a Republican in Virginia doing this… And the double standard will be there for all to see.
Of course, they haven’t found such, yet.

PREDICTION: Watch for Virginia Democrats to come out with something, anything, on some Virginia Republican as a distraction. It won’t matter if there’s anything to it or not, expect the press to treat it as gospel. This Virginia stuff is killing them, and they’ll do whatever it takes to change the subject.
I have every reason to suspect that they’re already digging for such a distraction, but rather like Bob Mueller’s stable of young Democrats, they haven’t managed to come up with anything.
Gee. For the life of me, I can’t imagine why.
Well… now comes word that the attorney general in Virginia is moving in response to “blackface” allegations.
So, the governor, the lieutenant governor, and the attorney general all facing major political problems, position threatening ones.
The Washington Post meanwhile is now saying that the Governor needs to resign for the same reason. Let’s remember gang, that this is the same Governor that they were preaching was a racial healer. WaPo has gotten it wrong so often, one wonders why anyone pays attention to them anymore. That aside, it’s a measure of just how bad things have gotten in Virginia.
Frankly, I see absolutely no reason for this circular firing squad not continue on a national scale.
Consider Elizabeth Warren and her claims of native American heritage…. Since, rather clearly debunked.
Consider Cory “Spartacus” Booker, being equally dishonest.
Does anybody think that in the effort to sate their political avarice, those two issues are not going to be brought up? And I bring those two individuals and their overt lies up in this post simply because I had the links to hand. There is of course a long list of examples that I could link here.
As an aside, I suppose that’s probably why the Democrats are so frustrated over their inability to topple Trump. They work on the Clintonesque idea that there must be some dirt, some place on everybody, and Trump can’t be any different than their own Front Runners. their lack of ability to come up with something, anything in that regard of itself shows the fallacy in that idea. But it doesn’t stop them from doubling down on it. observe for example the number of brand new investigations in the brand new Democrat-run lower house.
In any event, what we see in Virginia is Democrats being held to their own standards and not surviving the challenge. Those standards, you see, were only supposed to apply to Republicans…
And I tell you point blank that the cannibal pot we see bubbling away in Virginia, will be spreading out across the country for the next two years, at least.

Of course, that one’s a very close call, so the Democrats had to go after Bernie as a racist and a sexist for doing so, to give Abrams that little extra boost.

Both CNN and CBS ran polling data showing a 75% approval rating for the contents of the speech. And that I think is precisely why people like Nancy Pelosi, and Maxine Waters and Chuckles Schumer were down playing the speech before it even happened. They knew the moment he hit the podium, they would lose.

It should be pointed out since Newsweek has never been anything but a leftist outlet, and for them to admit such things, to say nothing of CBS and CNN, who operate in the same theater of the mindless, demonstrates clearly just how badly the Democrats have overplayed their hand.
It’ll be interesting to see in the weeks ahead, if this dosage of reality has any effect on Schumer Pelosi and company. particularly as regards to the next impending government shutdown.
Best part of the night? Watching Bernie Sanders getting slapped upside the head with reality. I also note that Nancy Pelosi deliberately did not applaud that line. That tells us right there what she is about.
After so exposing themselves, and with the kind of poll numbers we’ve gone over here, the Democrats are going to find it difficult to marginalize Trump going forward.
Advantage, Trump, despite the Democrats wearing their Klan colors. The question is will it be enough.

But let’s find out who it is that was responsible for the picture the governor in black face showing up when it did. Isn’t the lieutenant governor high on the list of suspects simply because of the idea that he would be the one to benefit?
I mean, we have a black lieutenant governor, whom it would be easy enough to presume got annoyed at the picture, and recognizing that the become governor all he has to do is release that picture to the ever so politically correct press. Fairfax had the motivation, times two.
And let’s say, again just for the sake of speculation, that the governor realizing where that picture being posted came from, decided to bring up the the well-established history of sexual assault against his lieutenant governor.
Tit for tat, in other words.

The surprising part is that it all fits with what we’ve been told so far.

If I were to state I that wish to engage in a discussion regarding the governor, would Northam take that as a threat?
